The only way I've found to see if a church is right for some one is this. Does it line up with the Word of God? Then take it from there. A church that not only teaches and preaches it but lives it. Also one who not only teaches or preaches salvation but how to live the life of salvation afterwards leading towards Heaven and the ultimate day of Salvation when God takes His people Home. If they can't live by what they preach then it's the wrong church. Also one that beliefs line up with the Bible is important. Do they know God as the Father, SON, and Holy Spirit? Do they pray in tongues or not? Do they believe in water baptism? If the answer to most of those is no then maybe it's not the right church for you. Full Gospel churches are the ones that all new christians or even the one's who've been christians for years need to be in. Sure programs are great but it's the Word of God that saves us.

It matters not what denomination one is part of or what name the congrigation gives to the building it meets in... If the individual is not of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head then that individual is not one who will be called to meet Jesus at The Rapture.
I am attending the Church God led me to after my Salvation 6 1/2 years ago. I will remain in this congrigation untill God leads me to some other work or situation... but I will alway be of The Church..... in any man church there will be those still sitting in the pews after The Rapture... there are more who think they are "saved" than actualy are.

Jesus established only one church when he walked the earth. He told his disciple Peter that he would build his church on him and that the gates hell will not prevail against and it and that it will last till the last day. That church is the Catholic Church and none other can make this claim. Any church that tells you that they are the church of Christ is a liar. The Catholic church is the original Universal Christian Church that Jesus established and still stands 2,000 years later. The Catholic church has gone through trials and tribulation in those 2,000 years with bad members, evil clergy, bad popes, scandal, schisms and the reformation, but it still stands strong because Jesus himself who created his church is the only one who can bring it down. When it comes to practice the church is not perfect however, when it comes to doctrine the church is very perfect because her doctrine is the Truth revealed by Christ. This is the truth, many protestants don't like hear this because it hurts. The protestant truth is that Martin Luther established the Lutheran church in 1517, Wesley founded the Methodists in 1744, King Henry the VIII founded the Anglicans in 1534, John Knox founded the Presbyterians in 1560, Joseph Smith founded the Mormons in 1829, John Smyth founded the Baptists in 1605 and so on and so on. The Christian evangelicals are thousands of different denominations. If you are a Catholic your church was founded by Jesus Christ, the only Son of God in the year 33.

When I was in the Marine Corps, in North Carolina, Father Beane the Catholic Chaplin was having a discussion with the Protestant Preacher about what church was the right one and the Preacher said well Father you believe that God is everywhere right, he said yes, well then he is in my church also! Beane said yes that is correct, God is also in the toilet too! End of argument.

Yes, I am a member of the Church of Christ. The church Christ died for.
1 Corinthians 1:10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be NO divisions among you: but that ye be perfectly joined together in the SAME MIND and in the SAME JUDGMENT.
13- Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
2 Timothy 2:10
Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sake, that they may also obtain the salvation which IS IN CHRIST JESUS with eternal glory.

end times... smend times!
my parents thought they were going to be raptured without kids, each was a surprise and they told us to wait by the bus stop of futility,
they are still waiting, all the kids have left that fallacy and got involved in this life and helping thier fellow man not finding reasons to hate and say sinner
I enjoy my current church, all are unbelievers, heretics but full of love and compassion for thier fellow humans
