Not that I always feel the need to, but once in awhile it would be nice to take things "offline" as it were and discuss the matter out. Yet, instead they resort to hurling insults from behind their closed doors. Get a pair.

I'm looking for specific days in the month of April that are Roman-Catholic observances (besides Easter). My organization is Franciscan and our patron saints are Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Clare, so anything having to do with those saints and Franciscanism would be a great help also.

A relative of mine is getting married and I am in the wedding party.

As a christian we are to be lights and let God have the glory and the attention going to the Lord.

I want people to see that I have grown and matured and not an overly senstive person like I was as a child and a youth. Please pray I do well for this occastion. Thank you.

I am very talkative at times annoying and have a strong personality.
What are godly ways I can encourage people at the wedding and rehersal dinner without being wound up, hyper, and excessively talkative?

I am a very enthuistiace person but find people get offended when you are too outgoing or too exbuerant.

I have not always respected my self in the past.

My desire is to show the love of Christ to these people and really be calm and happy in the Lord.

Do any of you have any godly suggestions? Thank you and God bless you. Please pray for me because I do want to change and grow thank you so much.

The Muslims say that Christ was not the son of GOD. Isn't this the biggest Blasphemy?

Take a moment and imagine that all people of the world suddenly converted your faith or lack of faith as the case may be. For instance; say everyone became protestant Christian, or everyone became an atheist.

a) What would everybody become (What is your belief system)?

b) How would the world be a better place?

c) Or do you think we’d just come up with a different reason to be cruel to one another?

We’re not talking about an idealized belief so please don’t come back with True Christian or True Humanist, those kind of critters don’t seem to really exist.

Okay just a general question. I have been told countless of times by Christians "If I'm wrong about God, I'm Wrong, But if I'm right...." and "At least we are covering our bases"

To me it sounds like they only believe in God for the reward / fear of not being good. It just comes off as sounding like they aren't being truly nice for the sake of being nice but for the reward of Heaven.

Are you just "covering your bases" because your want to be on the safe side or are you following God's will because the core of what he teachers (ie: be nice / good morals) is the right thing.

.oO(I wonder if I would get an honest answer on this. I can't see many people admitting to being nice just cause they want to end up in heaven)

-_-again no bible posts~persoanl opinion-_-

Many Christian holidays were designed around Pagan holidays simply to challenge them and also to convert said Pagans. We Christians love a good party--especially to gove glory where it is well desrved--in God's Name. Is this not a great idea?

Those that sign up get a nifty badget if you so desire to flash and then issue the follow proclamation to any person attempting to prove their cleverness and failing miserably.

Logic Police Citation:
"You have been found in violation of attempting to appear intelligence and quite obviously failing miserably. Please try to think more with your brain and less with your a.s.s, in the future. Future penalties will incur the wrath of those of greater intelligence than yourself, of which there are plenty. Have a nice day."

Imagine if things had no order. What would that look like? Shape shifting, things suddenly disappearing and appearing. Wouldn't that be more God like that order?
I thin order is evidence that there is no god.

My intention is not to offend anybody but more to learn. I've always wondered since Judaism and Islam have one book that was revealed by God and it hasnt been changed since, why does Christianity have the Old Testament and the New testament and how do you know which one has the true message of God and which one is written by man?
