Spirituality serves the human need to feel a part of something. To have a purpose in life, and be cared for. However, this is not to say that spirituality and God are not real, but it does fulfill a need.

We are spiritual beings so that is where I get my concept of "spirituality". We all have some form of "spiritual" beliefs, yours may be that you don't believe in anything outside of the natural world. Some spiritual beliefs include a religion, or a system of sorts.

I think you have the question backwards.
'What spiritual need does the human serve' would be more realistic,
Humans did not invent spirituality. It already existed when the first amoeba turned up.

If all of us in heaven is of an equivalent prestige, in spite of ways reliable or undesirable you have been formerly, then heaven could be an idealized development for the communists. Does that mean that God is a communist? Or that the communist perfect is presented to the oppressed plenty as a ability of very final equality? Oops, I digress. nicely, back to heaven. the wealthy have a greater robust possibility to be reliable on a huge scale than the suffering unfavourable. i know that's what's in the midsection. yet actual once you're merely eking out an entire life of your very own it is greater durable to realize out to others. So shouldn't benefactors that have actual helped thousands or tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of, oppressed or ravenous or gravely ill have a greater robust prestige in heaven than a guy or woman that has helped one or 2 people? no longer in the communist type of heaven. The communist leaders have used the adage of very final equality to entice people into their legions as effectively as religious leaders have used it to convey people into the flock. (BTW i like being refereed to as a member of the flock do no longer you?) because prepared faith is a plenty older type than communism i will in trouble-free terms assume that communists took the concepts from prepared faith and utilized them to their very own objectives.

The need to be OK/doing what is right.

Shouldn't one's definition of spirituality be based on a set of beliefs that have stood the test of time? Would'nt the bible qualify here?

Humans have an instinctive desire to live and keep on living; at the same time, we're intelligent enough to comprehend our own demise. This is at odds with that instinct to live, so people invented "Spirituality" so they can appease that instinct to live.
