Exodus 3 documents the appearance of "the angel of the LORD" to Moses:

13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”
14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

REMEMBER: Moses is speaking with God (vs. 13a) and God told us He may be referred to as the "I AM." In the NT, we read this:

John 8:56 "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him [Jesus], “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Jesus answered this way to demonstrate He pre-existed Abraham; however, He also tells us HE is the "I AM," the angel (messenger) of the LORD; therefore, He is God (see Exodus 3:13a).

There are APROXIMATLY 7 billion people on earth
of that:

33% are Christian
21% are Muslim
20% Hindu Muslims (yes, there is a difference)
2/10ths of 1% are Jewish
and 25 and 4/5ths % are Other Faith/ or no faith afiliation

I am so tired of so many on here saying that Christianity is miniscule and that they are not a prominent religion. They are the dominant religion on this earth like it or not. PLEASE get your facts before you sound off :)

What is the point of carrying on, if their is nothing out there? You wake up in the morning, go to work, eat, come home, eat, watch tv, maybe go down the pub, go to bed, have sex (if your lucky, Get up the next day and repeat the day before.
Why not just end it all now?

other religions outside of Christianity need to see and feel the POWER OF GOD. Talking and debating won't do it. They need proof. Miracles , signs and wonders. Would you agree?

Christians, Let's Pray they experience the Power of God, so they will have the proof to believe.

When I've been to churches in the past, I've always noticed women were talking. Turns out that violates the word of that alleged, stupid, invisible man in the sky with super powers of yours:

14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

I gave what I thought was an honest and actually for a change a sincere reply to someone who wanted to know why people slam Christian's. Then it gets slammed. Why do you ask why if you don't want to hear the truth?
Not all Christians, but the majority are bent on converting people and imposing there morals on others. Most of the world doesn't not believe in Christianity. If you wish to practice that religion, then please feel free too. But do not impose your will or your beliefs on others. Do not damn someone for not believing in your religion. America was created by people trying to escape religous persecution. Now, America is starting to fight back against rather then run. This is why a large number of people are honestly, sick of dealing with Christians. And the sad part is, it is not all Christians. But because of a group of fanatical extremists, the entire religous organization is attacked. MMm..sort of reminds me of how people are treating muslims.
