John 6:44 says No man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
There is more to just asking.
First must be drawed, and when we are drawed we must realise that we are sinners. Romans 3:23-For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Once we have been showed all this then thats when Romans 10:13 comes into play.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Yep very simple. Get down on your hands and knees and call out to Him. Ask Him to be Lord of your life and ask for His forgiveness - believing that He is who He says He is - The Son of God. Romans in the Bible says "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." You might ask "Saved from what?" which is a good question. You will be saved from a life without purpose and live in newness of life - trusting Jesus and living for Him. You will have Eternal Life - life after death. Read the Holy Bible - start with John and it will be revealed to you all about the Lord Jesus. Next find a church that will help you grow in the Lord - you won't have all the answers but they will help you. I hope you start today. Blessings to you. I'll be praying for you to find Him - He is really there just waiting for you.

Yes it is! People make it much harder than it is. He is Love. He died for all our sins. Just believe this.
That He died for you
He came from a virgin birth
And that he is coming again.
You don't have to understand everything, just believe.
I'll pray for you, please let us know how your doing. Find a church close & go to the pastor ask all the questions you need to. Sometimes it's better in person so they can show you verses in the Bible to help you along. The g8 thing is that you are asking, thats half the battle.
God Bless you!!

I called on His name and was saved out of a state of Hell//
This does not mean it is a piece of cake.
Read about how to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, it is a narrow path, not easy, like some seem to think.
Following Him also means climbing the ladder of consciousness. He died for our sins, this does not mean we just go about our lives and then He comes to save us. We need to still clean our Hearts, free ourselves from what binds us to the world and stop identifying with the ego-mind.Yea, all your Heart, seek God wth all your Heart/
You need to go within. He holds the lock and you hold the key. Silence (no thought) is golden..

There was a scholar of the law who stood up to test him and said, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
Jesus said to him, "What is written in the law? How do you read it?"
He said in reply, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."
He replied to him, "You have answered correctly; do this and you will live." (Luke 10: 25-28)
Notice that Jesus DID NOT say that you have to call on His name or to have faith in Him. There is much, much more that needs to be done besides just having faith. St. James told us
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it?
So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Indeed someone might say, "You have faith and I have works." Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works.
You believe that God is one. You do well. Even the demons believe that and tremble.
Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar?
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by the works. (2: 14-22)

Yes, it is. Another thing that helps is the act of giving out love. For example, helping out the poor (like Mother Theresa) or teaching or donating money to charity. As long as it is from the heart.
