John 19:25-27
25Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
26When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son,"
27and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
(NIV)

This text shows who was standing by the cross. There was no man standing there, only women. Doesnt this prove that Mary Magdalene was the disciple whom Jesus loved? And not John!
Could the "son" be a change from "daughter" to make Jesus seem more divine?

Is this dust that you can see in sunlight floating in the air, the particulate matter of creation itself perhaps? Ghostly, spiritual matter perhaps which can accumulate and cause death in us or healing depending on what it is called on to do? Were there mystics over time who have summoned its energy?

it seems to me today to many people are paranoid over nothing and are quick to find fault in others. they see every little thing as a personal attack when it has nothing to do with them whats so ever. its really sad.

because they were accused of insighting violence that killed some muslims 6 years ago. However these 3 never got a fair trial and amnesty international and australia protested. but the executions went ahead today.
the funny thing is the indonesian muslims who carried out the bombings that killed lots of australians and the muslim cleric abu bakr bashir who planned the attack were set free. the bombers are still in jail , but 3 christians even without a proper trial were executed.
what kind of islamic justice is this?

but what really made me cry was when i saw so many indonesian muslims joining in a candlelight vigil to protest the executions in jakarta. these muslims should be honored, and i truly feel that they are part of humanity.

These muslims who joined hands with christians and cried for these 3 christians, could they be the future of islam?

does hardship bring you closer or further to god/your faith? justify.

for example, you are soo good to everyone but you are given an illness that won't go away. or you only have 1 person in you life whom you love so much then is taken away. it is the hardships then that makes us either stronger or more grieving... but for you, what justifies your relationship with the one you believe in ? does hardship bring you closer or further to your faith??? justify.

i mean if he made all that we know he must be pretty close. then did he make our planet and the human race to fail, as it is.. and why did he even bother with the dinosaurs, just to make them doom. is he still making things happen. like is he gonna make something after us humans, or did he just make it to start with and eveything has evolved as it is since then ?

If your parents didnt believe in god would you? or would u not believe in god..

2006-09-21 21:49:41 · 16 answers · asked by Anonymous

We should all have guidlines, rules, codes of conduct that we all could live by. Enforced by a body chosen by the whole planets community with no exclusions. Religion in all forms should be banned. Its time to start feeling our way in the world. ie If it hurts don't do it. If it hurts someone else, don't do it. The rules are simple and most of us already know it.

Numbers 31:17 - Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.18 - But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

Would you liked to have been the person who sliced up kids with swords? Or would you have just liked to be the one who held the little child still while your buddy shoved a sword in his stomach in front of his mother or vice versa?

There could only have been so many designated virgin checkers, so you would have had to be a hacker or a holder more than likely.

What would you have done? This was God's command, you couldn't have opted out..I would have hated to have seen the penalty if you failed to do God's command.

A follow up question..What would you do today if your God gave you the command to kill everyone in your neighboring city? I don't want to hear that "he wouldn't do that", because he has done it before and supposedly God is immutable.

What would they (the Muslems) think and do, about a mass immigration to say, Pakistan, or Iran, Kosova, or anywhere that was Muslim, and part of the deal would be to errect 50 churches. The other part of the deal would be to allow religious hatred to abound against all Moslems and then the final part of the deal would be, that unless we were not allowed to do exactly as Christ had instructed us, we would take revenge by allowing an underground terrorist organisation to flourish and blow up the very people in the country that was their host, and to issue 'fatwah'??spelling? on anyone insulting Christ.
