That is a very good question. it was a hard one for me to do because I was a planner. I liked to get ready for things months in advance if I could. I came to a place in my life with children and other people who cannot be controlled and finally said I cannot change this situation and it is out of my hands. So I mentally in prayer see myself handing these problems over to God. I say "God I cannot do anything about this and I cannot take it anymore so I am giving you my children," and simply turn it over to Him.

Depending on the problem you may aways feel a sense of guilt, but remember that it was the devil who manipulated you to do this thing in the first place. That's how you're going to pray to God. You tell God, "The devil somehow got me to do this thing again, and I need you to understand that I need your help lord in getting better at keeping the devil from influencing me." Then you and God will work on the problem which won't be fixable over night. Heck you will always be influenced by the devil until you are in heaven with God and granted amnesty from the demon. But as long as you understand what is going on, and show God you understand... then God can forgive you, and you can feel more at ease. That doesn't mean you shouldn't feel guilty for sinning. If you make a decision to go with the devils influence then you are still a certain amount guilty. But the father (God) knows that children (us) are always going to be influenced by the bad child. Just like when you were a teenager and influenced by bad friends. Our parents forgive us. And if your earth parents did not, at least know that the heavenly father DOES. God bless. Good luck.

Prayer works wonder at all times. When I meditate I usually give all the cares of my life to GOD. He uses people and circumstances to help me get through whatever problems I have.

It's not a one off event, its a process
Make yourself accountable (talk to an older wiser Christian about it regularly)
Practice praying all the time, so that you surrender the issue in your mind and thoughts continually.
Get some good Christian counselling

By faith, how do you get faith? By reading the bible, and obeying Gods laws, you will soon find that it will become easier to give problems to God, but first of all, start reading and study the bible

Faith and trust. You have to trust God to handle the situation and not worry about it anymore. You have to give it all to him... not just part of it. It is a hard then to do, but it is worth it in the end... trust me!

You know when you have stopped trying to figure out how its going to turn around for you.
As Scripture says, "His ways is higher then our ways!" Don't limit God by allowing your mind to box Him in. He is bigger then that!!!
