I am an australian woman and i have been to america. unlike australia usa seems to be a religious nation. could this be the reason why i saw so many americans dressed as buddhist monks, hindu priests, muslims and every kind of religion and sect on earth? Have americans actually converted to these different religions or is it just a passing fad?

I hate to ask this question for fear of all the religous out brust to fallow. My husband and I are trying to decide what religoun is right for us. We know Catholic anything, Christion anything and anything like them are not for us.

We thought Bhudism might be it, but we're not sure. We believe that believing is the most importen thing of all. To be open mind to all religuons even after we decide on one and that peace, hope and harimly are the key to happies.

Is Bhudism right for us? Where can I find a site to better find this out. Can anyone better explane Bhudism to us?

God created man or man created God?

Perhaps God is nothing but the imagination of human beings and their inclination towards worshipping virtues.

Otherwise we couldn't find such disparity in the teachings of the different religions of the world. How could Mohammad & Jesus, both be God.

How could Krishna & Rama both be God when they stand for entirely different sets of values and qualities.

Lets find out ?

Without citing scientific discoveries (you reject science as evidence), the bible or anything related to the bible, prove your claim that "God did it."

If you cannot, then you have no valid claim.

Promoting the "Wedge Strategy" does not advance your argument.

tell me why you think the world could be billions of years old?
Its all really a theory right..then why are you all so scared of the creationism "theory"..has anyone of you taken the events from the bible and looked at the earth with an open mind and thought well yes their would have to be a creator..or well there must of been a flood..
Its seems you hide anything that goes against your theory..skeltons found about 12foot tall..sure their skulls where different shapes but isnt it true that your skull and face(nose and ears) never stop growing?so if people were living to be 900 wouldnt that be why?

why is it that in the Ten Commandments, God finds it neccessary to say Thou shalt not lie, and then say 'thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neightbor? isn't that two sides of the same coin? And if man couldn't live by the Law, and Jesus had to come to complete it, wouldn't laying down a set of rules that is impossible to live by make God a sadist? Why not just send Jesus down and get it over with?

It's not as easy a question as it might seem, as you have to decide who the natural father was, whether or not he was married to Mary, and what definition of illegitimacy is used. So no off-the-cuff yes or no answers please, explain your reasoning.
