Yes fasting is determined by seeing moon. for its beginning and for its ending.It is called rukhiyah computation..We will celebrate Idul Fitrie as the beginning of a new month after ramadhan that is Syawal if the official has seen jus a little part of moon will rise.We muslim and muslima will follow the announcement of our government when to begin and to end our fasting month ramadhan.
