I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. AMEN.

This is the Apostles Creed which is what Roman Catholics believe.

Mormon missionaries came to my door and I asked them that and they TOTALLY blew the question off, but they did not deny it.. so, if someone could get me a biblical citation or some sort of concrete evidence, if it is true, you will definitally get the 10 points.

It seem like no one has a clue to what is moral and immoral. Just because it is 2006 doens' t mean it is ok to do wrong. The things that were wrong in the 50's are still wrong today. I am not that religious myself but I was raised with a sense of decency and some morals. Is there anyone out there who sees what a sewer the world has become? Any decent people left?

Who (in your opinion) was/is the worst person of all time?
What religion (if any) were they a (self-declared) memeber of.

Note: If someone posts a certain person before you try to go with something different. No points for repeats

Don't Christians believe that you have to be a follower of Jesus Christ? Is it not part of their beliefs to speak against non-christian religions?

Something that has weighed heavily upon me in my personal reflections is the idea of theistic spirituality without reward. I realised that much of my personal piety is based upon the hope of heaven and I would like to ask this hypothetical question to the people here,

"Would you be prepared to believe in G-d and serve G-d if you knew there was no heaven?"

nota bona: I believe in both G-d and in heaven, so please treat this as an academic enquiry.

It confuses me to read some of your questions trying to figure out which one your referring too because I see them as different.

Jesus is very caring and forgiving to the point that he gave his life for everyone. Because of Jesus everyone has a chance of going to heaven
because he is willing to forgive you if you can forgive yourself. Jesus feels your suffering and suffers hisself because of it.

I believe in Jesus but follow God because he expects more from us than Jesus does and isn't as caring. God leaves your life and soul in your own hands if you fail it's your fault not his and he moves on.
Basically like if your got on drugs or whatever and lived a bad life that created a living hell you'd have no one to blame but yourself.
Also if you go to hell its your fault not his, can't blame him for expecting you to care about yourself and you chose not too.

It should be easy for you to tell the difference one is willing to forgive the other isn't.

That's what it says in the good book, the word of god.
What's the verse??? You know it, christian person. You know it, catholic person. You know it, jewish person.
Ask the second part of the question to the tea totterlers, you know, the children of god who are so brainwashed by their beliefs that even if Jesus were to return to the earth, they wouldn't listen to him and they'd try to put him to death again.
GOD forgives them, I forgive them, you should forgive them. Can you forgive yourself???

I turned around and with her EXACT words gave her the same kind of answer in one of her questions. She cries about it and has my answer removed. I say what's good for the goose is good for the gander!

I also say...GROW UP!!! If you can't take it then don't dish it out.
