Jesus was not a Christian and neither were any of the 12 apostates.
The first Christian was Paul. Why should I care what he has to say. So for those who want they can follow the religion of Paul I will follow the same one as Jesus did.

I am a christian because I have seen with my own eyes what the power of prayer can do for you. My grandmother had diabetes. She went to church and had the church members pray for her, and when she came back she was not only healed but she no longer needed to take medication for her illness.
In my personal life I have been, I guess wrapped up in the word not practicing my faith like I should. For some reason every time I turned my back on God my life was in ruins (EVERY TIME) , when I got my mind back on what it needed to be on God My life seemed to turn around.
The fact is if you listen to God and the bible life will be full of good things. Every successful person I've talked to (and I don't mean rich with money, I mean rich with life, being healthy, good children, nice house and car, money saved up) all say the same thing that we're not alone, and were not put on earth to serve ourselves but to help each other.
I don't know how you can live without having a God to pray to. I mean when ur relatives die, how do you find comfort without knowing they are happy with God in Heaven. What do you do when life is just all messed up, when you can't call on the master, the lord and creator of the universe.

I'm a believer and follower of Jesus.
If you want to call that a Christian, so be it.
I personally don't believe in the actions of many Christians nor do I believe in Organized religion.

Yes I am a Christian. Why you ask... because Jesus Christ showed me His love. Once you feel that love, there is no turning back. He died on a cross for me and everyone else to have a chance at eternal life with him. God loved me so much that he would give up his only son to give me and others the opportunity to live.

I was so unhappy as a Christian, so no. It destroyed my self esteem and taught me to feel guilty for existing and it covertly stressed dishonesty and hypocrisy. I was on the verge of comitting suicide because I could not accept the undeserved guilt hoisted upon me by this religion(I'm referring to Catholicism by the way). I did not see the point in denying myself pleasure for the sake of pleasing god. I do not see the logic in calling things "sin", then confessing these sins, and falsely promising not to do them again. I did not see how self deprecation, self denial, false humility and inescapable sense of guilt for "orginal sin" as well as every other "sin", I did not see how that was supposed to contribute to a happy life. Who's ever heard of a happy guilty person? What does all that dishonesty accomplish? I do things that are considered "sinful" but really they're just part of living and I am not going to pretend I'm sorry and beat myself up for living. I am so so so much happier without religion. And I have not suddenly turned into a killer or a rapist now that I am no longer controlled by religion. The only fundamental difference between me and a religious person is the label that they slap on their self. Other than that, you couldn't tell me apart from a religious person just by looking. I am not afraid of autonomy. I don't delude myself. I do not view God as a party pooping punisher in the sky. I think religious people are scared to live and take responsibility for their own lives. I think they condemn other people for their sins because it makes them look honorable and because they are jealous of the people with enough courage to live life rather than hiding behind myths and accepting everything while questioning nothing and being total hypocrites in the mean time. That kind of life is just not for me. If someone is religious and happy at the same time, it is because they are hiding some "dirty sinful secrets". Because religion is inherently anti-hapiness and anti-selfesteem. There is no room for enjoyment of life within Catholicism. So if someone is Catholic and actually enjoys life, you can be assured they are not practicing what they preach. Their main source of enjoyment comes from making other people feel guilty in order to diffuse their own guilt, which they don't realize was brought on by religion in the first place. Oh yeah, and the power of prayer? Total bull. I learned that you're not supposed to test god. And also, that means your using him for your own gains. The list of hyporcrisy goes on and on

Yes I am. I had an epiphany some years ago, I believe God has involved himself personally in my Life, answering Prayers, sometimes not the answer I want but I usually feel right about it. It's something hard to explain. I believe science actually proves there is a God more than it disproves.

Yes. I became a Christian 3 days ago. I used to bash Christians for fun. They annoyed me so bad because they didn't use their brains. I got tired of bashing them though so I became one, and decided to be a Christian who actually used my brain.

Yes, I am a Christian and I hope that you are too. I love the Lord and I praise Him for the sacrifice that He made for me, the price He paid for my sin, and grace He has shown me by shedding His blood for my sins. All praise, and glory, and honor unto Jesus, the true King of Kings.
