Sin separates us from the relationship that we are meant to share with God. Anything that hurts that relationship is bad. However, when we repent of our wrongs and acknowledge our dependence on God to keep us from sinning again the relationship is restored so all sin has the potential for equal good.

Every sin seperates us from God, no matter what it is. He is looking for a relationship with us, so anything that keeps us from getting to Him is bad. I think He views all sins as equal.
There is one sin that cannot be forgiven: when you "blaspheme" (disrespect or "assert incorrect beliefs about") the Holy Spirit (see Mark 3:29). I don't think this means just once and then you can never change, I think it means if you will completely ignore God and not listen to Him at all ever then there is no chance for you to be saved. You have to at least consider believing.

Good Question. Sin is sin. God the father cannot be in the presence of sin. This results in a huge gap that can only be bridged by the Redeemer Christ. He bridges the gap by being our substitute to pay the price of our sin, not matter what the size.

It depends on what you truly believe in your heart, not by how you were raised or what the preacher says. Preachers and pastors and the like all have their own interpretation of the Bible, of 'good' and 'bad'.
Sin is sin, yes, but what your heart knows is 'right or wrong' counts, too.
The God(s)/Goddess(es) you believe in matter, too. If you have faith in some form, you just have to follow your heart.
The catch? Your heart should not be guided by ignorance, stupidity or extremism. Everyone involved in planning 9/11 believed they were doing the right thing and that they would go to their version of Heaven. Go figure.

All sins are equal. Most christians, and others, like to make some sins worse than others, but all are equal. Murder, impure thoughts, all equal.

sins are sins. they are equal. but there are no greater sin before God that is unforgiveable. but people must trully believe in him and accept Jesus is his savior and believe he's son of God and only through him is the only way to God, then ask for forgiveness. God knows what's in a man's heart, so if he ask for forgiveness but doesn't really mean it, then he can't be forgiven.
God can't be happier when a man who was corrupted by evil turn to him and be born again.

a sin is a sin. It does not matter what sin you "do", it is a sin against GOD. HE does not defer between little sins and big sins..Man does that. Earthly punishments are the ones determined by the severity of the crime.

It depends on which denomination you are. Catholics think some sins (the Cardinal sins, I think they are called), are unforgivable. Southern Baptists, on the other hand, think that having an impure thought or telling a lie is just as bad as killing someone (I know, that was beaten in to me personally).

Since many sins are committed by people who never heard of Christ, they are equal. It is what is in your heart of hearts that decides whether you will be a part of the second resurrection stated in Revelations.
