.There's a tremendous change since the 50"s. Morality in all facets has declined. Abortion rates are up. Divorces are up. Premarital sex has increased, along with all those problems. Major crimes has increased.
These increases can be traced back to 1962, when prayer was taken out of the schools. Without God, people don't have a firm bases in morality. I've heard that 15,000,000 laws have been passed trying to enforce the Ten Commandments.
Want to get morality back? Bring prayer back into the schools. Teach our kids the Ten Commandments. Bow a knee to our Lord and ask for His blessings.

There are a few of us left out here. There are a lot of parents out there that just don't care about teaching their children right from wrong. Most family's have 2 parents working(sometimes 2 jobs) trying to make a decent living and are never home and the kids just run wild. You can't discipline kids anyone because if you touch them you find yourself in jail. So the kids now know that they can get away with anything they want. there are all kinds of reason that this world is going down hill.

but can you say what is right and wrong to begin with.
The power that is works in odd ways. Some ask why he lets things happen, others think why make it happen? the devil doesn't do all the evil, as the evil must do good when god plans evils.
think of it like this, the earth releases diseases to keep the population under check, killing people, but that is good and the work of God, but the Devil makes sure there are just enough cures to keep most the people healthy, while seeming good, it is really bad. Not to say we shouldn't strive to live, not doing so would be in a form suicide, which means that even if the Devil has people figure it out, he gets their souls if they don't take the cure, and if they do, he still wins by working against God.

I see what your saying. The thing is, God gave everyone a conscience so that we would know right from wrong. The problem is that, some people have numbed their conscience. They don't listen to it because it tells them that what they want to do, like stealing something or lying, is wrong. Because they willing go against their conscience, they lose the God given perspective of right and wrong. Its kinda like this, their consciences are seared much like a steak is, it is burned and a bit hardened on the outside, but once we use God's Law when witnessing to them, its like taking a knive and cutting into that steak, getting to the nice juicy layers of it.

Yes 100% My wife and I know what is right and wrong and we try with all our heart to please God and live a godly life before him.. We very much limit our TV and other input and I am very careful where I navigate on the net.. I watch my language and try to never even tell a small lie no matter how unimportant..
There are a lot of decent people left, but you have to look ...

i think your half right. there are alot of good people out there. look past the roadrage and the lack of quality of our media. forget the fact that we have the finest government money can buy. nevermind the homeless and unemployment rate are through the roof while we pour billions into other countries. Drive by the sky rocketing fuel prices and come to the conclusion that the men who run this country have the citizens best intrests in mind at all times.
God bless America every day! We will never forget!

There are more decent people than others. Maybe you haven't been around enough of them? The bad ones make the news, and a steady diet of that can discourage the strongest hearts.

The world has become a world of "me" people. Whatever is right for "me" is ok for everyone. Kind of sick, isn't it. I totally agree with you as I was brought up during the fifties also.
