I am a Master Mason of an esoteric Order which admits both women and men, American Co-Masonry. I will speak about what I know only.

In order to be admitted you must believe in a Supreme Being. That lets out agnostics (those who do not believe.) How you characterize that Supreme Being is up to you, the candidate for Initiation. We are, indeed, a spiritual path. We are a moral path. We work on our behaviors in this world, making no claim on what happens after one dies.

Some of us are Gnostics. I am. I have had two direct experiences with The Ineffable Light and seek a way back. I wish to, by my work and learning, find the way to be known and to know. I believe that Freemasonry, especially Co-Masonry, is that Path for me.

Some of us are Hindu, some Buddhist, some Methodist, some Muslim, some Taoist, some Wiccan. All sit in harmony and Brotherhood in the Lodge.

That is my experience. No Wikipedia, just two and a half years as a Co-Mason.

Peace,
Master Mason

Freemasonry is the oldest fraternity.

It cannot be a religion because freemasonry welcomes all men of different religous background.

It has nothing to do with religion, BUT any man who wants to become one SHOULD BELIEVE in a SUPREME BEING before he can be admitted. Actually it's one of the first questions that will be asked to an applicant.

It is not a religous movement but its a venue for men of different beliefs to act, think the same and to become one.

What i know for particular is the adventure appeared to final for various hours yet my new bride mentioned she in trouble-free terms waited for around 5 minutes for me to come back into the motor vehicle. there have been no drugs in contact. i've got self belief, although i'm no longer particular, that what I observed replaced into previous my psychological ability and my ability to invent. Free masonry is nothing more that devil worship. You get degrees in free masonry. When you reach the 18th degree it become sunworship, from 31st degree it is satan worship. They are a secret organisation, nobody and I mean nobody realy knows when they were started, but the jesiut order started free masonry as a front organisation, the illuminati was also started by the jesiuts, actualy all secret societies was started by the jesiuts.

Doesn't have anything to do with religious background - Freemasonry exists in many countries. Nowadays I would describe it as a kind of old boys/girls club if you like, I rub your back you rub mine....
