God created man or man created God?

Perhaps God is nothing but the imagination of human beings and their inclination towards worshipping virtues.

Otherwise we couldn't find such disparity in the teachings of the different religions of the world. How could Mohammad & Jesus, both be God.

How could Krishna & Rama both be God when they stand for entirely different sets of values and qualities.

Lets find out ?

If you think there is a God , then there is, If you don't think so, then so what. my problem is this, whatever I choose to believe, why do certain religions demand my blood or my soul as payment if my beliefs are different, Mans inhumanity to man never ceases to astound be. Over the centuries, Humankind has attempted to understand existance. Each new unexplainable occurance in life has to have a reason or rhyme. The first rain, the first snow, the first fire, the first death, the first birth. what goes on here? Explain it to suit your self, its part of Gods plan or its evolution, its Jesus, or its Mohammaud or its Zarathustra.
Are we made of mud, molecules or perhaps we are part of a string theory. Arguments and explanations have been made over the years for all of these things. More people have been killed in the name of someones God than any other reason on earth. I say lets put aside the religions and try understanding the things all life has in common. We all need to breathe, we all need air, we all need food and shelter and not to be left out, we all need nurturing, call it love if you will. In order to have these things, we must learn to share, to find out who can be the biggest giver, to live in harmony with the earth, the waters, and the air. I think a better question would be, if God exists, why would it be necessary to kill one another ? Does it really matter if I don't believe in what you believe.

God is not the figment of imagination.Behind everything there is a reason and a driving force. We don't fully understand the world around us and perhaps never would.Do you know that scientists now believe there are eleven dimensions based on a theory called the String Theory.
God is that force which is above everything and aanything , if u show something and say that it is God , it is not God because thers is something beyond that even. That is the nature of infinity and nature of something called God.

Now coming to religions there is hell a lot of difference between every religion , all of them don't preach the same, the difference arises when the matter comes to" Methods to achieve Union with God". For this my friend u r free to chose from after making extensive studies of all the religions.

of course god is exist , and to give you a proof
i will ask you a question
how could a human being create all the things that surrounds us like the sea and the trees and the sky and the mountains the birds , the morning and the night , the rain
remember that mohammad and jesus are human beings like us and cant create the sea or the sky without pillars , so sure there is a god who create us and create all the things in this world
and in islam there is one god , because if there is two chefs cant cook a meal, and two gods cant create this world .
believe in god you will feel more comfortable

What it is, is that the bible does not exist. The bible is a fabrication of mans perception of what he thinks GOD is. That does not necessarily make it true. In fact in makes it the exact opposite. If all of the teaching that we lean are actually fabrications of someone, who is to say that anything is real? How do we know that the very values and morals we posses are even real and not in fact, an idea places by a power hungry ideologist that wishes the world to live under his ideals. GOD is what you believe, GOD is a higher power that people feel a NEED to believe in because somehow that helps them make since of all the terrible things that are happening in the world. Somehow, knowing that no matter what happens in the end everything will be okay, helps people justify all sorts of erratic behavior. For example the bombing of the trade center, they felt that they were carrying out an act of GOD and in their eyes, it makes it just. Therefore I have to question the belief of GOD as a whole. Sure I believe in a higher power, but why do we only believe in that higher power when something is wrong or we are trying to justify bad behavior. Why not pray to GOD to thank him for a great day?

Sorry I am ranting, but I thoroughly enjoyed this question. I am sure I will hear it from a few people but hey its just an opinion.

That's an endless question....nobody can answer to it.

If You have got the grace to get the happy feeling out of believing in a God, You have already an experience and will believe in his existence.

Otherwise God is only a them for discussion.....but on good level!

But first consider this. If a person opposes even the possibility of there being a God, then any evidence can be rationalized or explained away. It is like if someone refuses to believe that people have walked on the moon, then no amount of information is going to change their thinking. Photographs of astronauts walking on the moon, interviews with the astronauts, moon rocks...all the evidence would be worthless, because the person has already concluded that people cannot go to the moon.

When it comes to the possibility of God's existence, the Bible says that there are people who have seen sufficient evidence, but they have suppressed the truth about God.1 On the other hand, for those who want to know God if he is there, he says, "You will seek me and find me; when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you."2 Before you look at the facts surrounding God's existence, ask yourself, If God does exist, would I want to know him? Here then, are some reasons to consider...

God created man in his likeness. In fact, we are all Gods. However, we have perfected the skill of denying and rejecting God. Practice makes perfect. God has become like oxygen. We only recognize the need when we could hardly breath. God has become like water in our body. We only remember it when we are thirsty. We have perfected the ability to disconnect. It is like hanging the phone or disregarding a text message. It is habit forming and difficult to relearn. Only a habit can kill another habit.

God is the beginning and the end of everything including human being. His presence is everywhere. We will not have an idea about God in the first place if God is not exsistent.

GOD is also called the SELF CREATED ONE(and other names).
and created the souls of ALL that WAS and WILL BE after it finished creating itself from the chaos and finishing giving it order.
There fore ALL things carry a FACET of the CREATOR with in them selves. Thus the profusion of different names for the CREATOR.I HAVE AS MANY NAMES AS THERE ARE STARS IN THE SKY AND GRAINS OF SAND IN ALL OF THE OCEANS.
