What do you say about this mans prayer?

Facing your fears is the only way to get rid of them. If you truly believe in God you will not see the tests as "dangers", perfect Love cast out fear. Total faith, total will surrender would mean you would not be scared. And yeah it is the way to pray// God will not lift you straight out of this world into the next. It is through a process and this process requires a lot of testing by the devil/demons. I have prayed to please make it stop, but a better way is like this man prays, Please stand by my side and give me the strength to get through this.
I would like to pray this prayer for all those that have and will undergo something along the lines of my experience, may God protect and strenghten them..

This man has realized some truth: avoidance of danger brings in no results; courage to face danger makes man more mature.
The One True God ordains that man must become more and more mature to build an ever-advancing civilization on earth.

If you pray like that God will arrange for that to get courage. If you pray like "lead me not in to temptations, but deliver me from evil", He will do so. Prayer is a powerful weapon. You must know how to use. Your words are very important in the world and in the spirit realm. According to your word things will happen. Negative words will bring bad effect and positive words will bring good effect.

In short, "God Helps Those Who Help Themselves." Praying is, or should be viewed as, one of many ways we prefer to inspire and motivate ourselves. To pray, and pray only; is to ignore all other "God given" senses.

it sounds a lot like the serenity prayer
god grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to know the difference

If there is one concern Jesus assured, it rather is persecution. yet God shapes us by using hardships and persecutions, making us sharper. concern no longer, for God has triumph over the international.
