God came to earth and wrote the 10 Commandments in Stone. The First says, "I AM THE LORD THY GOD ..." God has not come back to revise them ... but Jesus says, it's ok. Who do you believe?

If you have an answer or care to listen...This can get deep.--Here it goes

By not trying to find out answer for yourself, you put yourself in a position to be controlled for the most part.
Do you ever wonder if there are people counting on you not to look at the bigger picture. Seems crazy don't it?
What would be the best way to keep them from finding out or letting these people realize that they have the power to change or make a difference, contribute even?
Coining the term "Anti-Christ" was a brilliant move for people who wish to manipulate you into using your energy into making their dreams come true instead of your own.
May be hard to grasp in the everyday numbess of some people's lives but this is very serious. So serious in fact, the advertisement industry spends BILLIONS of dollars to tell you what your dreams are. Why?

verses 7-9...
[7] Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
[8] Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
[9] And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

What I want to know is, what was the point of the exceeding high mountain? Couldn't have Jesus or Satan simply used supernatural means to see the kingdoms from the plains?

I am starting to remember bits and pieces of my childhood and the "church" my mother forced me to attend.

the place was big into icons of a dead guy nailed to a stick, and
there was some bizarre ritual where i was told to eat this guy's flesh and drink his blood.

What's up with that??

We were told that this would be the downfall of society.

Funny, I've not noticed anything changing

So many people claim that they are following the true teachings of Christ when they spread hateful lies about other religions and they critisize other people for believing something that differs from their own thoughts and religious practices. Can anyone honestly tell me where, in the bible, Jesus (himself) said that people should be angry, violent and hateful? I've been following Christianity all my life and I've never heard anything about this....Am I reading the wrong bible?

If Jesus said:
"it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God," Luke 18:25

... can you name some prominent Christians who are not gonna make it?

Before I read the Bible I thought Christianity was a religion of love and good morals. When I read it I found out that it tells that God ordered and approved genocides and it says that people who don't obey the rules of religion should be killed. You can find many examples of this excessive violence in the Old Testament.
So I would like to know from people who believe in the Bible how they deal with these passages? Whenever I asked religious Christians before they said something like they don't have the wisdom yet to reply this.

Here's what I mean, let's say a pilot and his co-pilot are "Born-Again" and headed to heaven on the Jesus train. They get raptured midflight over the ocean, everyone on the plane would die in the crash, how do we know who was saved and who was just a victim of circumstance? Wouldn't this be unfair to those who didn't get raptured? Or is it "God's grace" that they get to miss the tribulation and go straight to hell?

In this article the Pope is reading a quote from a 14th century emporer. Islam then compares the Pope with Hitler and Mussolini.
Why is it, that when someone says something, even a quote, that Muslims don't like, they have absolutely no self control, and their rage seethes in open displays of intolerance and outright hatred?
When they responded in even the harshest terms, calling the Pope 'Hitler', 'Mussolini', the Catholics don't start burning effigies of Muslim leaders, nor do they blow up busses, trains, and planes full of Muslims. This propaganda warr being fought by Islam is the most one sided event I have ever seen in my life.
If all those who are like minded, whether MUslims, or Christians, or Jewish, etc, meaning, willing to kill other humans over religious fanaticism, do not stop it, God has you marked for destruction.
All who live by the sword, shall die by the sword!

Don't get me wrong or judge me right away. I honestly think that (extreamist) Christians and (extreamist) Muslims dislike one another because all-in-all, they have a lot in common. Islam and Christianity differ on three main points: The Trinity, The divinity of Christ and The Crucifiction. Perhaps it's not the "differences" that pull the religions apart but the similarities, fighting for which one is MORE accurate....Just a thought.

a person who REALLY stands for peace, like Ghandi?

According to many Futurist Dispensationalist teachers, the anti-Christ will promise and make strides for Peace but will secretly be plotting for the takeover of the world.

Could this be the reason why Christians are typically skeptical of leaders who attempt to bring about World Peace?

If so, what can be done to correct Christian attitudes towards world peace?
