Dear Coreyusaf:
Before I ever got into spirituality and small studies on metaphysics, I explored for five years, on my own, the following:
Archaeology (as it pertains to religions of the world), the History of World Religions, Philosophy, Ancient Man, The History of the Roman Empire, the Quest for the Historical Jesus and Theology, Explanations of the Talmud, and the Gnostic Gospels. Later in life, I "touched" upon Physics then called Quantum Physics. I've been a published poet and into music a good part of my life.
This little "foray" into most of what I have listed above did not set well with my family. There was a price to pay. Especially, when after all the above was said and done I found myself literally "rushing" after the spiritual path I finally chose.
I sense now that you would have disliked my answers to you in the question of becoming a Medium, as well as my comments about your becoming a monkey. As if I may have "controlling " personality aspects myself.
No one has ever had the need to delve, explore, change, and then make a difference and contribute - more than me. When we become a little further along our path in life, we can't help but delve into all our learning and experiences and want to SHARE it -so that maybe we can "guide" someone away from those areas of seeking that we learned were areas that produce either nothingness or problems. Everyone eventually becomes a guiding voice when they get further past the school years. There's no harm in this. No harm is intended. Contribution is what is being offered. Not control.
You are correct, the world of media spends billions of dollars trying to convince - and telling you you will fail if you go another direction from what they present.
I go through my life listening to all. But every decision is made on my own. I'm pragmatic. I weigh this and that. I enjoy it. But the final outcome is uniquely my own. I think YOU should do that.
There's a difference between being pragmatic and feeling strong rebellious feelings toward the way life is made up in the physical.
Rebellion toward anyone or anything is not spiritual or mental health when they are attempting to offer, guide, or contribute toward YOU. Rebellion is a reflection of something not worked out inside ourselves. It is the antithesis of peace.
You are using the Anti-Christ expression in a particular vein, that includes media/advertising. You don't want to be "crushed" in your dream of exploration of self - the inner Christ that you are - by teachers and what THEY FEEL the direction of your exploration should be. I learned something from everyone in my life. So many teachers - who I then incorporated into WHO I became and HOW I expressed myself. Don't be angry, rebellious, and so separated from your brothers that you can not listen with great interest and incorporate what you desire while tossing the remainder away. You, too, OWN contributions and making a difference - someday. You'll have your own offerings to others. I enjoy your questions, right now.
Although I am an anointed teacher based in "A Course in Miracles" my own lessons NEVER cease. Jesus and the Holy Spirit never stop unfurling the next level of lessons to me. Strangely, the Anti-Christ came up for me just a few days ago.
In a broad definition, to me, the Anti-Christ is represented by anyone who would deny THEY are the Christ, along with Jesus.
( One-ness.) In the denial of Him and therefore, ourselves, they would HOLD BACK their brother's journey. Those of different beliefs are NOT Anti-Christ. They simply journey in different ways with different teachers. It's truly the absolute denial of Self and the Creator - that is Anti-Christ. Our influence on one another is without limit. We have, through the One mind, a true ability to delay each other on the journey. Atheists, when hitting out at people who are on their Journey, do this while holding themselves back. People's Journey should not be attacked. When you own the Christ within yourself, you are strong enough to withstand the lack of understanding from others. There is no need to attack the "Anti-Christ." The Anti-Christ is within himself a Christ unknown and undiscovered - thus far. But they will come to recognize the Christ and know themself and thus recognize their brother - without fail - at some point within Time. We can all count on it.
The Anti-Christ always involves a lack of peace. There is a level of learning to be achieved somewhere on your path that brings you to where you need only ask for what is needed and can receive it - from within moments to a few weeks, depending on the complications of it being put together for you - as it is worked out for you through your brothers. All things come through your brothers. The Holy Spirit works through your brothers to give to YOU! That's the measure of the awesome-ness of our One-ness. Have you ever gotten anything or received anything that did not come through your brother's to you? No! You learn of this through the experience of manifestation. But the Holy Spirit, it turns out, is the CENTER of the manifestation! Your thought heard by Him is cause of His inspiring action in others on your behalf. Thought + divine power through thought = bringing into Being. Manifestation.
What I was shown the other day, was that while "out in the world" and experiencing chaotic energy everywhere around me, I was completing my errands within a lovely circle of peace based upon my trust or faith that my NEEDS would be met - no matter what. Things arose. I spoke rapidly to the Holy Spirit within, and had all I needed as I moved about in my peace and watched others act out with anger toward each other, impatience, intolerance, etc. That chaos was an Anti-Christ : Against the peace of it's own Self. I know now, and will be shown more of it, that the Anti-Christ has no power whatsoever. It's a denial of what is so - the peace of Christ keeps operating in the midst of the Anti-Christ.
No one will manipulate you, Corey. Your mind may see it as such - but it is only the world's offerings to you. Pick and choose and uniquely add your own guiding light.

It is almost as if Christians want the anti-christ. It iis like they are beg for him to come... Well what if he is already here or has already been here? I think that Jesus is already back, and I have proof. However this will never be heard out by any Christian because it doesn't fit in with their book. It is like they want their death and destruction through the anti-christ,a dn when it comes to Jesus? Oh just throw him on the back burner, we have other things to deal with.
As for the lady that said that she had peace in her heart but she wasn't sure the person who wrote this question did: That didn't sound very humble. And even if it was, why would someone want to have peace all the time? With out sorrow or conflict you will never know and understand how beautiful it is to have peace.

The few real people that control the world don't want us looking at the big picture you are right. "misdirection" there is something bigger going on,and they want us looking at something else so we don't see what they are really up to. Your statement is very well thought out.

This is one of those questions that I would LOVE to answer/discuss.... but I can only do it in person.
There are so many ideas in here for me to ramble on about.
Suggested reading... "The Anti-Christ" by Friedrich Nietzsche.

It is possible that the Anti Christ may not rise for hundreds of more years. It shouldn't stop our peace process.
