I was on a crowded train one day with my ex-girlfriend talking about the Gospel of Judas they had recently discovered. I was wondering who they believe wrote it, and a man, infamous around Boston, wearing a big sign that says "Repent or die!" on it, politely infomed me that it was written by Satan. Is he correct? Should I alert the archaeologists and scholars about this discovery?

With much respect I ask this, because I have this book made by Jehovah Witnesses were they cite verses from the Bible but they are kind of different, the verses and chapters are the same but they changed the verses and like explain it in their own words. Did they made like their own version of the Bible? Or am I wrong and confused it with something else?

theirs? do you think that is right just because you believe that your religion holds the truth and salvation while others don't? what about their the beliefs their religion is imparting on them and their families?don't you feel you are trying to takesomething which isn't yours? if i may be so bold, what you are doing is like poaching to me. how would you feel if others of other faith pull the same tact on your followers for the same reasons that you have? I'm ok if they come to you at their own free will, but going out in the streets, making nice to them, questioning their religion, faith and studying it so you can find ways to turn it around, i think that is simply isnt right. have you ever question that yourself

I don't remember asking a question about it. Why would you say that? For example: My baby dies a horrible death.....Jesus is the answer? Doesn't make too much sense.

We came to this world naked and it was human beings that developed clothings for protection against the weather. I would therefore assume that in heaven, with ideal weather, everybody, including the Angels, Jesus Christ and the Almighty God would appear naked. What a show of nudity, I can imagine. Its only logical and correct me if I am wrong.

Matthew 10: 34-36 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter in law against her mother-in law, and a man's enemies will be those of his own household."

Yeah, that makes it real easy to honor thy parents, doesn't it? Seems like an uphill battle, really.

Not to mention that Matthew 12 speaks of "a house divided cannot stand". So He devides the family and forces a situation where they're almost certainly doomed for failure. Is this really reasonable or just?

'Just don't harm anyone.'

Seriously, if you think of all those regulations in the Old Testament and all the doctrines set forth by the Catholic church, etc... Doesn't it all just come down to not hurting anyone else? Besides believing in Jesus, of course!

Why not just skip all the strict rules and bells and smells, and sum it up?

All responses welcome (Christian or non-Christian) but please, no vague insults or name-calling!

hen the Prophet of Islaam migrated to Madinah, he was keen on establishing friendly relations between the Muslims and the non-Muslim tribes of Arabia. He established a sort of treaty aiming at ruling out all pre-Islamic rancour and inter-tribal feuds. The following were the clauses of the treaty:

1.The Jews of Bani 'Awf are one community with the believers. The Jews will profess their religion, and the Muslims theirs.
2.The Jews shall be responsible for their expenditure, and the Muslims for theirs.
3.If attacked by a third party, each shall come to the assistance of the other.
4.Each party shall hold counsel with the other. Mutual relation shall be founded on righteousness; sin is totally excluded.
5.Neither shall commit sins to the prejudice of the other.
