If I categorize my existence into thing I know and things unknown, can this be the link. To surrender to unknown knowledge and an idea of higher purpose and mystery and to temporalily drop my ego created world of personal experience and the knowledge I gathered.
Does it all have to do with the ability to dream, and create. To desire and intend to bring forth my ideas into my surroundings, does this create a motivated attitude to bringing heaven here to earth?
I really am not trying to make a point but seriously questioning this concept.
I think of all the things I don't know and things I can't explain. Then I think of some things I do know but others can't explain and label it god or a miracle.
If our brain measures frequencies and we create inventions that also measure different frequencies, how far can this ability to decipher frequencies take us?

"The easy confidence with which I know another man's religion is folly teaches me to suspect that my own is also."

"I would not interfere with any one's religion, either to strengthen it or to weaken it. I am not able to believe one's religion can affect his hereafter one way or the other, no matter what that religion maybe. But it may easily be a great comfort to him in this life hence it is a valuable possession to him."

It seems like there are a ton of you that dont believe, wont believe, dont care. There are so many that you seem to constitute a religon of your own. Since every religon needs a godhead to pray too i have created one just for you, its name is NEQUAM (Thats latin fer all youse small brainers). Look it up, i think you will be satisfied. Now go pray.....and NEQUAM be with you!

Hi, I am starting to get back into my spirituality and I'm looking to meet new people who are also Pagans/Witches who I can talk to, learn from, etc. Please respond, and also I would appreciate not being called a satanists, told I'm going to hell etc. Or that I'm evil and what not. I don't need to nor want to hear it. Sorry.

Anyone that has read about the mormon temple ceremony knows it is a little creepy. I mean come on, they used to up until 1990 rub your naked body down with oil, you wear what looks like a bakers cap, a green apron(that covers your naughty parts to symbolize Adam & Eve), the secret hand shake, temple workers that escort you and help you get into your sacred undies, and the secret names. I have to tell you I am really creeped out by this. That's some Waco-KKK stuff if you ask me.
P.S. If some of my questions have seemed a little too focused on Mormons it's because I am mad a H***, and I'm not going to take this crap anymore!!!!

Do you think charlitains like Benny Hinn, Rev. Tilton, Peter Popoff, and the like really believe in god? Or are they simply using other people's faith in order to prey on them? If they truly believed do you think they would have a problem ripping people off?

When reading about Aleister Crowley in books or on the internet, there is a lot of contradictions & misinformation. It's very confusing. Some say he simply advocated a philosophy and theology that was different from the mainstream Christian beliefs and some say he worshipped the devil. To those who are familiar with Crowley & his life & work, do you think he was evil, a brilliant thinker, crazy, or all of the above?

Why do christians beleive they have the right to tell me i'm wrong as an atheist and i haven't the luxary of making the same statement to them. Why when i make a good point thier best response is "god works in mysterious ways? How can the so called righteous be so arogant as to beleive they are better or more enlightened than I am? Why when I disagree they simply tell me that i will find out when i die or that i will see. Well I guess my response to that is that when they die they wont find out they wont see! How can you argue with a blind closed minded person. Why do christians feel they have the right to say that thier beliefs have more validity than mine. I think they do not.
