Do you think charlitains like Benny Hinn, Rev. Tilton, Peter Popoff, and the like really believe in god? Or are they simply using other people's faith in order to prey on them? If they truly believed do you think they would have a problem ripping people off?

Unfortunately, they aren't mutually exclusive. It's quite easy to pervert your beliefs to suit your needs. You simply delude yourself into believing that your ideal is still ..... ideal.

That's a good question? Of these 3 Tilton would be the biggest con of them all. Anyway you know the old saying "There's always a bad apple in the bunch". The bible talks about being well studied in Gods word. Jesus even said "My people perish for lack of wisdom". And yes there is a very bad judgement for those who use the bible out of context and mislead people with it. They do get sent to hell.

I don't know about Tilton, but I believe the others believe in God. Both are smart and could make it financially without Christian dollars. As long as they preach the truth, even if they are not living a Christian life, God honors His word. If people were not getting something out of these teachers, they would be off the air. God is their judge, not us.

Good question. I'm gonna leave that one up to God to decide if their faith is real or not. He sees into the hearts and souls of man and his judgement is righteous. Whatever the case (for or against them) they will be judged accordingly. Personally, I think it's wrong that they use so much money for themselves and not for orphans and widows. Not cool.

Not tot he extent that they want other people to believe. These people realized that Christians are very willing to donate money to their 'cause' and so they use religion to further themselves.

I'm sure they do. I'm sure they believe that their god is instructing them to rip people off.

It's funny what people will claim their god told them to do.

Any religion, church, priest, etc, etc, etc. that ask for money is a fraud. Religion is ment to be about spirituality, but now a days it's all about making money.
