The futurist angle on the book of Revelation in the Bible is turning more and more towards money and absurdity. The historicist angle is becoming more enlightening, having come out of the fog of the futurist angle myself. I am still holding to the amillenialist/spiritual interpretation angle myself, but I just wanted to know if there were any others out there who felt like me...shalom.

In Leviticus 20:10 it is written, "And the man that commiteth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" Does this mean, God kills adulterers? That is scary.....

You can't get something from nothing,

is God something, where did it come from, can you prove it?

if you don't believe in God, where did matter and energy come from, can you prove it?

Atheism and Theism have more in common with each other than they do with Agnostocism. Would you agree?

...some of the most brilliant people in hostory have believed in God. For instance, Albert Einstein beleived in a God though he did not believe is a personal savior. Does any athiest here claim to be smarter and more in touch with the laws of science and the universe than Einstein? What about Bach, Darwin, and several other geniuses who believed in a creator?

It seems parquliar how people remain so blinkered in a world where so much information is available, All religion can do is insist that you follow it blindly. which for most people is unaceptable. Does religion relly on poorly educated people to bring in the bucks?
How can it continue in a world that has moved on?
Are the religious aware of this fact and as a result getting increasingly bigoted and intelerant as witnessed here?

I know I can't spell get over yourself, coz I don't care.
If you say you can't understand me coz spelling is important you are dissproving your own sentance! so lets think more before posting such rubbish!

My uncle talked about his church and it seemed a little strange. He is doing all kind of things with his church in his day-to-day life. He told me that it was a lutheran church (he lives in Denver, Colorado). Could this be a sect ?

Can you define what the mind is and what the soul is as you understand it? And is there a difference between the mind and the soul.

Feel free to use quotes from your respective religions, if need be.

Any one ever heard of this end of the world prophecy for 8/22? I am a a Christian, and I don't buy it. But I would like to know the source of the deal with that date.

A person at work told me about the date, and then I saw it again on Y! answers as an answer from somebody concerning the end of the world. My curiosity is piqued. Thanks.

Oh and try to limit answers to helpful ones only. Thank you.

Home grown war, not resistence to missionaries.
The communist era persecution of religion does not count. This a very ,very small part in the long history of China.

I am 24 years and was raised Christian. I have tried to follow other peoples advice and tried to have faith that Jesus is in all of us. My heart does not tell me he was the son of God. People say if I listen to my heart I will find him but after so long I do not feel it at all. The thing that concerns me is that if I do not ever feel it will I still go to Hell? I have tried so does not that count for something?

Think how awesome this question is. And note the people who say the other position is not valid, not 100% of the Christians will say the other is valid, and probably most of the atheists will say the god thing isn't.

Now look at the people who think one thing but that the other can be valid. How incredible they are.
