First I would say to her "YOU HAVE 3 MINUTES TO GO TELL YOUR MOM THE TRUTH, OR I WILL".
Then, I would create some distance from her. I would not voluntarily choose to make myself a target for people who cannot take responsibility for their own actions. I would not hang around and give them a chance to blame anything on me.
I lose respect for people who can't own what they do, and who have others fight their battles for them.

if you have never told a lie, ditch her, if you have in fact lied at some point then can you understand her predicament a little better. Forgiveness is always better than carrying a grudge.

28One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"
29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.[e] 30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'[f] 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[g]There is no commandment greater than these."
32"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. 33To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
34When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.

Now that depends. Is her mother abusive? Perhaps she was afraid of her if she is. Tell her how you feel and give it another chance. If anything like that happens again, no more chance.

Why did she lie, is she always lying, what does she lie about?
If you don't like her using you in that way let her know, if she respects you she will stop, if she doesn't ditch her

Be assertive. Talk to her, try to find out why this happened. Sounds like there may be a bigger picture here.

Raise your eyebrow and say: "Is that so?"
Then continue on as if nothing happened.
