It's great social satire. It only offends those who support intelligent design, and then realize that teachers would be ethically obligated to acknowledge the FSM under the conditions of ID.

After the western religions have totally destroyed themselves -- as they are in the process of doing today -- I believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster will be the new dominent religion of the west. Either that, or the Church of the Sub-Genius.

Some of his fan club are a bit offensive, but the FSM himself is good...especially with parmesan cheese and garlic bread!
Still, I prefer the Pizza Man and his Magic Flying Cow who gives him five kids of cheese for his Perfect Pizzas, and his Gentle Purple Dragon, who benevolently provides the fire to cook the Perfect Pizzas to Peaceful Perfection...

No, I am not being unfaithful to my faith in Jesus...everyone knows Jesus talks with His Hands, uses olive oil, and has wine with His meals. Pizza is the Perfect Food of Angels!!
EDIT:
Jesus has said not to put any other God before Him, but I don't think He'd mind a plate of spaghetti or a nice fresh pizza in front of Him.

So far as I can tell, the FSM (praise His Noodly Appendages) only offends the dumbest brand of fundamentalist. Most everybody else gets a good laugh from it.

It offends me greatly. I can't even talk to it without it getting sauce all over my shirt. Say it dont spray it.
And when I try to take a bite out of it, I get slapped for being blasphemous. Listen, if you look like food, I should be allowed to eat you. Kind of like women who dress up and then get angry when I look at their boobs.
