Your mind is simply your brain. It's still a part of your physical being.
Your soul is the essence of who you are. It's what remains after your physical body dies.

The Spirit
This is described as having no mass, no wave-length,no energy and no time or location in space except by consideration or postulate.
The spirit is not a "thing". It is the "creator" of things.
The usual residence of the soul, (spirit, awareness of awareness unit....YOU) is in the skull or near the body.
The soul can be in one of four conditions.
1. Entirely separate from a body or bodies.
2. Near a body and knowingly controlling the body.
3. In the body (the skull).
4. An inverted condition, compulsively away from the body and unable to approach it.

There are degrees of each of the above 4 conditions.
The most optimum of these from the standpoint of man, is the second.

The Mind
This is a communication and control system between the spirit and it's (his) environment.
The mind is a network of communications and pictures, energies and masses, which are brought into being by the activities and interactions of the spirit with the Physical Universe and other spirits/individuals.
These activities include the operating of a body and the solving
of problems related to survival and existence.
The mind has 2 Parts:
The Analytical Mind. The keynote of this mind is awareness. One knows what one is concluding and knows what one is doing.
The Reactive Mind. This is a stimulus response mechanism.
This mind acts below the level of consciousness. It never stops operating unlike the Analytical Mind which can be less aware or even completely unconscious.

The Body
A carbon/oxygen engine. This can best be studied in such books as "Grey's Anatomy" and other anatomical texts.

This physique is yet a trifling chariot-a motor vehicle or a puppet that's being controlled with the aid of the soul. The soul is a component of light and in this form of a famous person who would be placed on the brow-between the two eye brows. however the mind and the strategies are the two placed in the soul. The physique is mortal, perishable jointly as the soul is eternal, immortal and imperishable. yet love is from the middle and the place there is love there is peace, happiness and bliss. Love is altruistic, candy and form and connotes virtues-the muse of love.

Yes, there's a difference between the mind and soul. To my understanding, the soul is where the core characteristics of a person reside....some of the things that make him/her unique among others, irrespective of whether the characteristic is good or bad. The mind is the place where ideas are born and perish, and where destiny altering decisions are made.

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your soul, mind and strength. In my understanding the mind is our rational thought, deductive reasoning, understanding, the soul (my understanding) is the eternal part of us that is shaped by experience, beliefs (everyone has beliefs of some kind) and lessons learned. I believe the subconscious is soul based (no proof)

There cannot be a perfect answer to what the "mind" is cause each person has one of their own, so depending on what context it is used in, then go from there, by soul this is also a term that depending on how you perceive it, means at least 2 different things to me, soul>a part of me that is not physical in nature but important to my life, also a term used to describe feelings and emotions, soul can also be used to describe ones spirit, again you feel spiritual then you tend to feel joy, peace, happiness, blissful. soul also describe a person who can feel, such as soul music, soul food, and so on. on who lacks soul will not be moved by such things.
So Body, Mind, & Soul used together tend to discribe perfect harmony.
the differance between the mind and soul is: your mind understands it your soul feels it your body reacts to it.

God knew all about us even before we were born. In fact, He gave our lives to us, and we are here because He created us and allowed us to be born. The Bible says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you" (Jeremiah 1:5).

Furthermore, it's important to remember that God not only made our body and our mind (through the natural processes He created), but He also gave us our soul or spirit, which is the part of us that is able to know God. We aren't just bodies or minds; if we were, we would be like every other animal (although unique because of our abilities). We also were created in the image of God.

The Bible certainly implies that we are given our souls right from the first. When the Virgin Mary, the mother of our Lord, visited her cousin Elizabeth, the baby growing in Elizabeth's womb responded: "As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy" (Luke 1:44).

Why is this important? First, it tells us that all human life—including that of the unborn—is sacred in God's eyes and must not be wantonly destroyed. Second, it tells us that God wants us to know Him! God loves us and He wants to come into our lives and begin to change us from within. Is this happening in your life? It can, by opening your heart and life to God's Son, Jesus Christ.

Christians have a totally wrong idea of that the 'soul' is. For the Jews of that time... including Jesus... the 'soul' was an enveloping emanation from the godhead that resulted from the community's relationship with god. The soul as a component of a human being (Christian view) is an artifact of Greek thinking on 'dualism'... which was incorporated into Christian dogma and lore by Gentile theologians, who were ignorant of Jewish (and Jesus') concept of 'soul'.

Everyone's worries about what happens to their personal 'soul' are of no consequence... it does not exist.
