How many of you who bash particular groups have actually read about their beliefs? If you are against Christians, have you read the Bible? If against Islam, have you read the Quran? If against evolution, have you read the science? etc

I think they all have something to offer. Wouldn't it be great if everybody went out there and started reading before they came here to attack other groups?

The big sin that condemned us all was Eve eating from the tree of KNOWLEDGE (I know it was of 'good' & 'evil' but doesn't that cover...most things?) Lucifer means 'bringer of light' (I've always understood that 'light' and knowledge' are the same in Xian terms) and he's the 'bad guy'

I'm just curious because I saw a sign outside of a Congregational Church on my drive home from work today and it said "Free Trip To Heaven, Come Inside For Details."

Yea, right, Muhammed ascended into heaven ...Ha, Ha, Ha..Sorry folks it happened only once with Jesus Christ..(600 years before Muhammed)... apparently Muhammed was trying to be like Jesus.....

by christian pastors that god created the earth to be a paradise for man and that it was his intent that we live in paradise from the beggining. if thats the case than why would he have tempted adam and eve at all?
he (supposedly) already knew that they would disobey him and eat from the tree of knowledge and that he would cast them out. so is where we are today then really his original plan and not the paradise as i have been taught?
