I'm just curious because I saw a sign outside of a Congregational Church on my drive home from work today and it said "Free Trip To Heaven, Come Inside For Details."

So what about it. Is heaven a free trip or is there a price? What is your opinion on that?

You don't have to belong to a religion to go to Heaven. I travel out of the body all the time and go to what religious people call Heaven or the Afterlife, which is part of nonphysical reality, to visit friends and loved ones who have crossed over, and to learn about the universe from the spiritual guides who exist there. This is the home we return to after death, from which our souls came before birth. Whether you are Buddhist, Christian, Muslim or Atheist, this is simply where you go to when your earthly life is complete, that is if you choose. Each religion wants to have a monopoly on Heaven, but this is a total farse. Life is an educational process, and no one is judged by others in Heaven. Only we judge ourselves as part of our learning.

No, it's not free. But you don't have to pay the price, either. The price was paid by Jesus when He died on the cross for your sins. Take Him up on the offer. It's the best deal you'll ever get.

Salvation is a free gift, so I suppose you get a free trip to heaven, but it definitely cost Jesus something!

Yes, it is a free trip, in the sense that the only requirement is you accept Jesus as your savior, and believe that he died in payment of the debt of all sin, and then rose again.

While you don't have to go to church to take advantage of the offer, what a neat advertisement. :)

Here's a "ticket" for the 'free trip'..

Heaven is a free trip. It's a "Get one free _______" deal. Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and died for your sins and you get one free trip to heaven!

there is a price. you have to be a christian to go to heaven. if you're not a christian than you won't be going to heaven. you'll be going to hell when you die. and if you claim to be a christian prove it. prove that Jesus Christ is your saviour. im not saying that you're not a christian. its just my opinion. and if you can't prove it than you're really not a christian as you claim you are. plain and simple. you know?? and about the sign, they probably just want you to go to their church. there is no free trip to heaven unless you're a christian. just my opinion. hope it helps. :)

Jesus already paid the price for you and I to go to heaven, just go in and except it or even right where you sit now. Just ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sins and that you believe He is the son of God, and ask him to wash away all your sins in Jesus name . Amen. That's free and simple.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Salvation is a free gift from God to all who come to Him in The Way He proscribes.

For many though, The Way is not an easy path to follow.

they'll just take you in and be very very nice to you and ask you to come by every week and then ask you to contribute and then they'll tell you when you die your going to heaven, but if you think about it, you did pay for it, by eithercontributing, working, assisting to this congregation. when your dead, your dead. just what i think
