I know I have certain insights can see the future at times and can get a sense of people when they are happy and sad like that. Basically I am an empath with a bit of precognition. I would like to be able to amplify my gifts but have been unable to find any real way to do this. If I could I know I could help more people and improve the lot of my friends and family.

Does anyone have any ideas? The more clear the answer the better

thanks much. Please resist your impulse to make fun of me if you are not a beleiver. Just help if you can ignore me if you cant.

Are we taking ourselves too seriously?
This one's just for fun:

Tell us what happened the last time you were
really f*cking high at church.

I don't mean "high" on the Spirit of the Lord. I mean blasted sideways and silly off some Most Holy and Righteous Greenbud.

Was it a good time? Did you snigger? Did you weep? Don't you just trip on all the ladies' hats? It's like one of them black and white movies where everybody is always wearing a hat.

"Lucy, I'm going to the club."
"OK, honey. Don't forget your hat."

And they were nice hats, too. Not just some shitty ball cap with an adjustable plastic strap, but proper hats. All fitted and saved up for.

But now you see hats only in church. How did we ever get this far from Jesus?

But anyway.....

Let's hear your best High in Church stories. Come on, make me laugh.

One of the answers I got to a question today was from a religious person, who was saying "why do you God-haters use money that says In God we Trust?"

If every non-believer stopped using money, (assume for a second, that debit/credit/check wasn't available); what would happen?

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not an idiot, I know we would all be unable to buy things, and would have to resort to barter.

Would we succeed, in an economy, that the believers would have us not be in.

Or is the question why do non-believers use money just the rantings of an ignorant (explitive)

A while back, I asked a question and explained how "thou shall not kill" in the Ten Commandments does not apply to unborn fetuses. I got a lot of answers basically saying "It isn't 'kill. It is murder". This brings me to my question: What is the difference between killing a person and murdering a person?

Some say homosexuality is sin. I say the Bible says we all are sinners.

Some say that homosexuality is sin enough to justify denying LEGAL equality. I say the Bible says not to judge.

Some point to Leviticus. I point to the 10 comandments.

And, I ask you, when's the last time you stoned someone to death? That's in the Bible, too.

I am a Christian who is not looking to convert anyone, nor am I looking to be converted. I'm looking for a brother or sister who loves God and wouldn't mind some positive interaction with a someone of a slightly different faith. I see us all as children of God, and I think we need to learn to work together when we can to make this world a brighter, more enlightened, tolerant place. No. My name is not Mel:)

Or were you simply taught that it is wrong? Please read:

There are two Hebrew words which are often associated with homosexual passages and which are mistranslated in many English versions of the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament):

qadesh means a male prostitute who engaged in ritual sex in a Pagan temple . This was a common profession both in ancient Israel and in the surrounding countries. it is often mistranslated simply as "sodomite" or "homosexual." (e.g. the King James Version of the Bible, Deuteronomy 23:17). The companion word quedeshaw means female temple prostitute. It is frequently mistranslated simply as "whore" or "prostitute." A qadesh and quedeshaw were not simply prostitutes. They had a specific role to play in the temple. They represented a God and Goddess, and engaged in sexual intercourse in that capacity with members of the temple. to'ebah means a condemned, foreign, Pagan, religious, cult practice, but often simply translated s "abomination.

There is no term that means homosexual orientation in the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts of the Bible.

PROOF

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

I need to clarify to aviod miss-understanding.
The emotion that we feel when we feel envy is an emotion that drives us to get what other people posess.
In my case, I feel the same emotion but not to gain what other people have; but to ensure that there is justice and good-will.
That same feeling has also been felt with envy; I do not know how.
It has had the ability in one person to save 150,000 lives!
This is varient of this emotion effects me too.
This blog shows you are about this feeling I have and I have saved some lives to because of it....

Adam is the FIRST PERSON to lead this religion for his children. Muhammad s.a.w was the LAST PERSON that handle this religion. Jesus was the SECOND LAST.

If you don't. How about reading al-Quran.

I'm still learning about paganism, and I've heard that many who practice magick have a magickal name. I've heard that it's not necessary to have one, but a person can choose one or wait for it to come to them.
My question is: how do you find your magick name, and how do you know that it's the right one? I'd also like to know a bit more about this subject.
