Herbs have always been around, so it makes sense that it existed back then. What do you think they were smoking when they wrote the tales in the bible? Noah & the ark? Jonah living in the whale? The talking donkey? The parting of the Red Sea? Turning water into wine? Feeding 5,000 people with a couple of loaves of bread and a little bit of fish? Come on, think about it.

Actually, the word hashish comes from the hashishi which is the root for the contemporary word assassin. I suppose that you know what hashish is... The hashishi were special fanatics that actually smoked pot before to go kill someone. It made them fearless and feel good. That's during Biblical times.

I have some thoughts...

I think that you must not realize that to say,"Biblical times" is to indicate a time span of thousands of years.

Anyway, I don't think you are actually so foolish as to believe that pot just suddenly appeared on earth sometime in the second century after Christ.

Lastly, stop insulting persons who have been gone and dead for centuries and are unable to defend themselves.

I haven't seen anywhere where it says anything about that!

But in Ephesians 5:18 says, And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.
