Islam was started by the prohet muhammed around the 6th century and was spread through a bloody militaristic campaign much like catholicism was. Jesus was the last Adam, not the second to last. Jesus is God manifest in flesh. Not the second person of a trinity as most teach. He is actually your Allah robed in humanity who came and died to take on the sins of the world. Of course God cannot die! Jesus had two natures. He was completely human and completely God. His human nature died on the cross and His divine nature raised the glorified body up on the third day.
God is only one, and Jesus is the express image of Gods person not a third of it.
Really it all goes back to the conflicts between Isaac and Ishamael, the sons of Abraham, the friend of God. Isaac was the chosen and Ishmael was not. Jesus was born through this lineage and thus He confirmed the many prohecies of who the messiah would be.
My friend, the Bible was not mishandled. It may have been taught in error, but it is true and forever settled in heaven. There is no need for the Quran because the Bible is all we need. Jesus is not just a prophet, He is the way the truth and the life and if you would like to discuss this more in depth I would be more than happy to discuss this with you in an email. The Christian God is ONE, not three in One. Three ARE one. The God you call Allah is in fact Jesus Christ, Jehovah manifest in the flesh. If Muhammed had been taught this, Islam would probably have never been.

I just started reading the Qu'ran and was surprised to find it to be perfectly in agreement with the Torah (old testament). It also contains the complete/real story of Jesus and clarifies the message of the Gospel. Indeed the Qu'ran is the true word of God...not the word re-written by the Romans to consolidate their power. The true words and lessons of Jesus are contained in the Qu'ran which says that Jesus will return to teach during the Golden Age. The Qu'ran says that Adam and Jesus were the only men on earth without a father and that Jesus is the only one who remained pure/without blame while on earth. God took Jesus from the cross to Him where he waits to return at the end of times when he will live and teach for another forty years.
Islam not only believes in Jesus it fulfills Gods message in a way Christianity has failed.

Most people refuse the fact based on ignorance..... they never bother to research anything. Most people just look at one part of the news and they think they now everything. News stands for.....
N orth
E ast
W est
S outh.
Maybe people should start looking at the NEWS from all perspective and directions.... not just CNN/ FOX
Not believing in Islam is ones choice, and they have the right.... but abusing it and calling it names is not. That is just creating chaos.
To person above me..... if Jesus is God in flesh... why did he say that there is going to be a prophet after him?
Why did he say that he has come not to spread peace but has come spread the sword...

Yes, So?
The religion of Islam was established by Mu hammed around 660 A.D. like the Mormon Religion was established by Joseph Smith in the 1850's in America. Both religions were established by charismatic leaders who drew their beliefs, their theologies, from earlier religions. There is evidence that the religion of the Hebrews drew from earlier unrecorded religions and mythologies of earlier societies, so that all religions are ultimately linked back to the beginning of human civilizations and cultures when they became conscious and developed ways to ask questions--a tradition that continues to this day.

I've tried to answer with facts, but I doubt the asker is interested in facts, much less in opinions that contradict in any way his personal faith.

You need to realize that the basis of your belief is a flawed, man-made book. Adam and Eve, the "Quran", and the Bible, were creations of man, not God (or Allah, in your case). Like Muhammad, Joseph Smith (the founder of the Mormon cult) wrote a book too. Anybody can write books, but you cannot believe that God had anything to do with all that baloney.

One word for you - "Plagiarism" - that is the source of the revealed texts of Muhammad. As for the rest of his revelations, even his child-bride Ayesha remarks on how Allah willingly bends rules to suit Muhammad. What more should one say about this scholarly work?
Don;t be a fascist - take the good advice contained in the Quran - e.g., "wage Jihad on yourself, for your own betterment", and throw the rest of it in the garbage.

Islam came from the bondwoman Hagar.
Hagar was promised her son would be part of a big nation. Abraham was promised that his seed through Isaac would produce the savior of all men.
Christ came from the son of promise, Isaac, who came from Sarah.
Christ was the promised one who would take away the sins of the world. He died, was buried then resurrected, witnessed by 500 people at once. He fulfills scripture.
Whoever believes on Jesus as Christ is the true Israel, the children of promise, of the God of Genesis.

What?! thats the biggest piece of you-know-what i've ever read!! have you ever read the Bible??!! anyways i shouldn't condem you because of your lack of christianty foundations but you should really consider reading the Bible in Genesis, Jesus was called the second Adam because he was the only other sinless man after the fall of Adam and Eve and yes God created Adam and from his rib he created Eve after he saw taht he needed a companion not Adam and Steve its Adam and EVE. It takes faith to believe the word of God oen day God will open your eyes so you may see the truth.
God bless,
_Sarah<33
P.S. the only book about God i read is the Bible
