Here is the answer, like it or not.
Mat 13:14 "And in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, 'YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; AND YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE;
Mat 24:39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.

If you'll remember when Moses led his people from Egypt, there were a lot of things going on that would truly freakout everybody on this planet today. Yet those people - who had seen the plagues, who saw the first born of every family in that area die who didn't have the markings of blood on their doors, who saw Moses PART THE RED SEA - reverted back to idol worship & sinful ways while Moses was up on that mountain. They were doing some serious partying. Then Moses came down with the Ten Commandments and caught 'em and it p**ssed him off. I have often wondered why those people, who were delivered out of the hands of their Egyptian masters, could turn their backs on God the way they did. I guess the same mentality exists today.

To some people it is hard to believe something they can't see or there isn't exact proof. Some people believe that God is just someone creating something to give people hope. Some people stop believing in God because of the trouble they have gone through. Others don't believe in God because it is easier to be a sinner and do bad things.

So the bible predicts everything? How come the 9-11 attacks weren't stopped then if they were predicted?

Hey Lori, Most people do believe in God...I do for one, but really, any one can turn anything from the Bible to mean something they want to hear. There are 100's of variations, and each is different enough to suit the needs of the one reading it. Some people just don't believe in God. Most used to but stopped for some reason or another. Just let them be. You can be a good steward to the church by using your talents to those who truly want your help.

The predications in the bible are vague. People throughout history have believed that the predictions applied to them.
The case for being skeptical towards religion is much stronger than the case for belief. Click on my name to learn more.

Satan is the God of this world.... Sad but true....They don't believe cause they would rather live their lives without any consequences. They try their best to dis-credit the bible, or make the prophecies seem to vague,,that way they can give themselves a reason not to take it seriously..

Well, i noticed someone said "satan blinds them" which begs the question, "Who does satan answer to."
If god wanted people to believe in Him, He wouldn't be hiding from them.
God uses the devil to blind people to prevent them from entering into life eternal (see Eden).
Believing in God is nothing, Satan believes in God, God doesn't need man to affirm him. The souls of men belong to God. He will save those he wishes to save and destroy those he made for destruction.
You really ought to read your bible more closely. it is not just believing in God, but knowing the only true God.

Give examples of the Bible predictions. Alot of the prophecies in it are vague.
Anyways, why aren't people worshiping Nostradamus for his predictions.
