Not just evolution, but other things as well, like reports on human sexual behaviour that clearly make the Bible outdated, considering it was written at a time when modern science didn't exist. I just can't grasp how they can brush aside scientific facts which explain our world consistently. And don't give me that crap about science always changing when it is wrong-that is what science is about; adapting to new information.

Please do not take this question offensively. This question is for any religion, though I am Christian. For people who didn't know that they were to seek the Word for themselves, were you just being faithful "church-goers" or believing what the majority believed?

Christianity is a relatively new and eurocentric religion. The gospel did not reach rest of the world until recently. So billions of people died before being told about Jesus and God. Since they didn't have a chance to accept Jesus Christ as their savior, did they all go to hell? What does established religious institution say about this? Thanks!

Hell is already a hot place, right? So when my sexy body get down there it will be like 4 degrees hotter. So the question is, is tht too hot? What do u all think? Should satan install an air conditioner? I'm writing a letter to him now but it really is a matter of opinion. Although I don't mind an extra 4 degrees some people might find tht uncomfortable and the swimming pool will probably get too crowded which is never good. So should I mail the letter or not?

He didn't die for our sins!He died because of hateful people who sought to murder him for his faith and his actions. He died because of murder that was justified by calling it justice at a time when justice was carried out on anyone who dared to believe differently. So why did he let himself die?Why didn't he run?

Was it original sin alone (the sin of Adam and Eve), or man's cumulative sins before Jesus'? How about sins after Jesus?

Rule #1: "All humans are worthless scum who should be tortured forever in hell by the loving God who created them.
Rule #2: Anything good that happens is because of God and anything bad that happens is because of you. i.e. Heaven which God created? All the credit goes to God! Hell, which god created? All the blame goes to us!
Rule #3: Because God created people who disappointed Him so much, He committed suicide over them. (Now granted some might regard this as a somewhat showy and unbalanced gesture for attention from someone who knows He can't actually die but that is why the 4th rule is: It's not supposed to make sense! This is axiomatic with the 5th Rule: We are too stupid to understand God's reasons, but he will torture us in hell for misconstruing his perfect yet oblique will.
Thanks Jesus!

NON-BELIEVERS, NO NEED TO RESPOND!!! REALLY!!

I just saw a question where someone asked why everything isn't called the gospel (because the Bible is the word of God) and was a bit astonished that no one else sought to identify Law and Gospel.

In part, it seems like people sort of understand what the Gospel is, but don't really understand its significance paired with the Law.

Is this not being preached or focused on by the majority of churches (denominations). I'm curious. And state you denomination if you have an opinion. Thanks.

The book of Revalations is being forfilled. Years ago when we would read the book of Revalations we couldn't quite understand what was being said but now we pick up the news papers and it looks like your reading from the last book of the bible.

I happen to be agnostic. I'm sure there are similar questions out there, but I'm curious myself, and there aren't any that are still open for discussion related to this topic.

I'm agnostic, but I want to be religious. It's just, due to my chosen agnosticism, it's difficult for me to blindly accept what society thrusts into my face. How can we confirm that everything said in the Bible was true? How can we confirm that He is real? Being agnostic, I am NOT confirming and NOT denying His existence. I'm just... "on the fence". I WANT Him to be real, and WANT to believe, but being a true believer has nothing to do with wants or determination. and EVERYTHING to do with faith.
I can't have faith unless I can truly believe He is real; right now... no matter how badly I want Him to be, it's hard to believe. I can say I do, but ultimately, I do NOT say I'm a believer, because I'm not. I just want to be one.
Anyway, here's what I want answered. I know why I'M agnostic, why are you?

My friend that i work with i care for and we get along pretty well, but he constantly makes jokes like calling god my imaginary friend and such of that nature. I tried to answer his questions, but they were asked in such a way that even if i knew all of the answers he probably wouldn't care because he is soo "sure " he is right. But he also said somthing that triggered somthing inside of me to try to help him. he said he liked the concept of "god" and he wished he was real and he knows that that is just "wishful thinking". that comment made me feel like he wants to know god, but at the same time has alot of doubt. acually he thinks it is all bullsh**. he dosnt want to talk about it either, and i dont want to push it opn him or he will resent it . he wants proof. but i know it's not about proof, but about faith and beleif. for now all i can do is show him jesus through the power of example, and pray. does anyone know of any other things i can do, again without being pushy/?

How many of you believe that its ok for a pastor to do well and make a good predetermined salary but that he should be out all week working just like those who give to the church do?You know doing things like praying the sick, visiting people in hospitols, helping the poor etc. Instead of flying his airplane, playing golf with other pastors and working 3 hours a week on sunday morning.
