He didn't die for our sins!He died because of hateful people who sought to murder him for his faith and his actions. He died because of murder that was justified by calling it justice at a time when justice was carried out on anyone who dared to believe differently. So why did he let himself die?Why didn't he run?

you could look at it like that, but Christians believe by faith that he was sent on earth to save what was lost between the relationship humans' were suppose to have with God cuz of adam and eve thing. Anyhow, so from my way of seeing it is he could have run away or whatever but he loves everyone and died so people could come home to heaven. Then when that happened soon as he died their was an earthquake and the earth was dark for 3 days and stuff like that went on.

Jesus did die for our sins, God sent his son to die on the Cross to suffer so that through him others could be saved, he was and is the ultimate sacrifice. He also arose on the 3rd day and is now sitting at the right hand of his father. Read John 3:16

Girl why must Jesus run for He is GOD, U know Jesus can call angels to come and save him but he didn't. He died for our Sins willingly, to Redeem, he must be a family, wealthy and willingly. All these Jesus have, JESUS have to die for all of Our Sins. According to the Father Will, of Course Jesus can say No, he doesn't want to redeem us, but He loves us so All these because of love that he Died for us.

HE died 4 you ,HE came , he came to earth to take the sins of the world , Jesus could have stopped them , he is the Son Of God , ,see in the beginning when God create man they walk with God and everything was perfect, be God give them and us the freedom to choose, everyday we have choice , in everything ,but like with the law if you decide to break it ,like rob a bank and you get caught there's a price to pay,, so God told them not to eat from the tree of knowledge,,and they were tempted but the devil and sinned ,, so God loves us an, made a way out for us throgh Jesus .. he's the the truth and the life .. go to him, pray

God establish a law

Those who transgress the law is punishable by death.

Man transgress the law

so man is sentenced to die

But there is a provision in the Law , that if anyone worthy enough ( or very high in value ) can be sacrifice so that the one who is guilty can have another chance

Now, any man or angels is not worth enough, a million of human lives or angels is not enough

Only the Son of God is worth enough to be a sacrifice

God the Father Himself commanded His very own Son to sacrifice and suffer in human form so that human can have another shot.

Jesus follow the will of the Father. and the rest is the endless debate in yahoo answers

Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--

Hebrews 9:22
In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Also,

1st Corinthians 15:3
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

i can see you never read the bible,or you wouldn't be asking this question,he was born to die for all sin, from the time of his death til he comes back,he was the last blood sacrifice,to God to cover all sins, back then before Jesus died, when people sinned they had to sacrifice a animal to cover their sins,he being the son of God was the ultimate sacrifice, and no one or no thing would have to do that again,so everyone 's sins are covered by the blood of Jesus, if they believe in him and except what he did for them, its a free gift, only thing you have do is except it,end of story

I completely agree with your explanation; Jesus didn't die for our sins and that was not his mission to begin with. Think of it this way; he stood his ground on his teachings by staying.
I don't believe it would have been possible for us to hear the message if Jesus had indeed disappeared.
Wouldn't you wonder if he truly believed in what he said, then he would have stayed to face the consequences?

I commend your intelligent thinking of course he was put to death he NEVER willingly gave himself on the cross like most Christians claim another proof is that he cries on the cross "Oh God why are you doing this to me?"

when these facts are put forward some say "well it was gods plan" It is stupid for god all-mighty to come down and be ridiculed by his creations dont they think ?

It's all part of god's extremely complicated and nonsensical plan. It's more of a Rube-Goldberg (are they both Jewish!?) machine than a plan really.

But the end result is the same. God is still a fantasy and Jesus is mostly (or purely?) myth.
