For those people who are truly seeking God and salvation from damnation to hell, for those not trying to make fun of God, I have some legit websites. These are not porn sites, although that's mostly what you find today online. The first website is www.gotquestions.org. Questions people ask Biblical scholars at GotQuestions Ministries. The other websites are www.heinvites.org (stories about how people's lives were changed once they accepted Jesus), www.intouch.org (Charles Stanley Ministries), and www.rbc.org (RBC Ministries).

One other thing...to all those who deny God's existence and power, ponder on this concept. How can Someone still exist even after His greatest creation (human beings) denies Him? He can. He does. After all He's God! People can also say God hasn't proven Himself. Of course, the whole universe shows He exists! He doesn't have to prove anything to us anyway! HE IS GOD, AND WE WITH OUR LIMITED CAPACITIES FOR KNOWLEDGE CAN'T UNDERSTAND A BEING AS GREAT AS GOD!

They call you an idiot or a moron or a retard instead of keeping to the point and talking about the subject in an abstract non-personal way...why can't they control their emotions for a few minutes long enough to say something rational that is not abusive?

... or would it be better for him/her to accept their feelings and be happy,relationship-wise, while still believing in God? Basically, is it better for a God-believing gay person to make themselves miserable due to God's laws, or realize that their choice to be happy might be going against God? Is that what God would really want for them... to be miserable? The argument that they would not be miserable because they would be following God's way... sorry, that just doesn't cut it, imo. If a person is forcing themselves to do something against their own nature, it's NOT going to be a pleasant experience. Views, opinions, discussion?

Man was cast out of Eden in the story and forced to live elsewhere on Earth. What exactly was wrong with the rest of Earth that made that a punishment?

Why was it wrong? Did God just decide he was only going to make a small part of Earth perfect?

If there was nothing wrong with the rest of it then is it the nature of man that makes Earth imperfect?

If it is the nature of man that makes it imperfect then if we change our nature will we recreate Eden?

My most trying experience would probably be the loss of my daughter at 9 months pregnancy. It was a terrible loss but looking back I can honestly say it taught me much that I would not have thought to learn. I treasure every moment that I have with my two sons as I never thought to have them. I love all children more deeply and feel that I have a special person now praying for me.

How can people confuse christianity with catholicism when they are completely different. In catholicism they have a pope, in christianity they do not, because honoring someone as if they were better than you or "more holy" than you like God is erroneous. Also there are no nuns in christianity, who claim to be married to God, which you cannot be married to God. And then they practice idoltary by "honoring"/worshipping the statues of st.andrew, mary, and other people that are probably not in the bible like st. augustine. And they believe that you can have your sins forgiven by confessing to a priest. In christianity only God can forgive sins, you pray directly to him not to a mere man. All catholicism is erroneous to christianity. when the two get confused people will blame mostly christianity, just because they have an excuse due to the faults in catholicism - like the geocentric theory, yeah that was catholics not christians. Don't get it twisted! Oh, but you will so it doesn't matter.

Anyone else think that the media has blown this Gibson thing out of proportion?? He was wrong in saying what he said, but he has apologized. Everyone knows that Jews run hollywood, are they still holding a grudge over "Passion of the Christ"?? If Jews werent in charge of this Coverage of Mel Gibson, why is in some cases this gossip news, getting more airtime than the war in Lebanon?? Is it all a Diversion? Do Jews think that Gossip can distract us from the real issue? Genocide.

Here's a link I found, its from when Gibson Made The Passion

Being agnostic, but also being someone who tries to practice the teachings of Christ, and given that they are so horribly twisted to fit political agendas these days, would an effective means of helping others return to the path be to minister? If I really disagree with what is happening within the organization, shouldn't I do something to change it? Shouldn't we all?

i do believe in god as a creator but definitely not any religions or after-life... so technically i'm not an athiest, but i'm looking for a place/group/community that can help me find a connection to my inner spirit and/or a spiritual connection to nature and life...

first rule if you're going to answer this question is:
KEEP THY RELIGION TO THYSELF!
i'm interested in athiest/non-religious answers only!

I know I am broad sweeping with this statement, but lets see where it goes.

I mean we have all the good things and good health and good lives and eductaion and everything you would want.

And those in the east seem to have very little of anything, living in the streets and no money and bad health problems.
Yes the East still has thieves rapists and the same bad aspects of the western world, but has no redeming features.

Is god rewarding us for not following islam?

His Morman Family does not like me, they think I am trying to change him. I am not though. I like him just the way he is, he keeps asking me more about my religion, and I answer him. He is interested in my Religion. Ever since then, his family is trying to keep us apart. I don't want this.

What does it mean when God said: "Let us make man in our own image according to our likeness."

Please, no Biblical Babble, I don't want to hear all this stuff about how a Dog chased his tail and caught it then ate himself so he is no longer a dog, nonsense. I want a logical answer.

Before you answer, please look up Image and Likeness and know their definition.

There is only 1 god (so god freaks say), so they must bepraying to the same one.

I personally think he will select the stronger side, which is probably Israel.

What does that message give to the Lebanese???

Why would their god not love them the same as the israelis??

Or is it more fundemental, is god really jewish??
