Who says God will choose a side?
It's not a question of who's side will He choose, but of who will choose HIS side. In that war, both sides are wrong and are displeasing to God. Neither have actually chosen Him, but are just using His name as a politaical back-up.

Both countries have Christians and non Christians. God will protect who He chooses as far as the people go. But God promised Israel that He would protect their country a long time ago and has done just that. Israel cannot lose and will not because it would prove God wrong. I don't think this war right now will last that long becauuse the UN will be sending an international peace keeping force there to stop the violence. Minus the US because we are smart enough to know that there is no such thing as peace in the middle east and sending more troops is a bad idea.

I think whichever side you're on you should think what your god would want if your finger is on a trigger. A bullet, bomb, missile is designed only for one thing & that's to destroy & or kill. Sadly with all wars through the ages both sides seem to think that god is on their side, & this somehow justifies their actions, so nothing changes & they repeat the errors of the past.I think killing another person should only be allowed in self defence, not invading another sovereign country as the Israelis have, that's terrorism in another form, displacing a whole nation, without care or thought of the suffering caused by their actions.

The Bible (God's written Word) tells us that God chose Abraham and His seed Isaac to become the nation that is now Israel. They are God's chosen people because His plan was to have Jesus come into the world through their seed. Jesus is a Jew.
God does love the Jewish people and the Gentiles. That is the reason He sent Jesus to the earth to die for our sins. He isn't willing for anyone to perish. However, only those who choose Jesus as their Lord and Savior will be saved. Our choice.
There are Jewish people who don't recognize Jesus now. They will in time when they understand who He is.
Genesis and Exodus will tell you about Israel. Please find a version of the Bible that is easy to understand. I would suggest the Easy- to- Read Version (comes in paperback). It speaks just as we do today.

If there were a God I am sure he/she would be thrilled at the murder and mayhem...I mean for pity's sake how can anyone who believes in God (this doesn't include me as I am sick of him/her being used as an excuse to murder and torture people) even think than any divine being would hold them in anything but disgust and contempt.
That being said, I am horrified Mr Blair has once again allied himself with that chimp from the White House.

G-D Love's his chosen children and they love him.
he chooses the Jews (not Israelis) because the Jews instruct kindness and love in their children.
the other instructs hatred and destruction and to hate one more then the other, basically they don't understand love and therefore cant love G-D in the first place.
so if a parent has a child that doesn't love him and asks him to kill his brother because he just hates him do you think said parent would listen because all the brother wants is to be left alone but will never get his peace only peaces riped away.
but no matter how much said child hates G-D and praises destruction G-D will (tho i cant imagine how) love him

Neither one is in the right , because they are attacking each other . They are acting like Israel did back in the old days , they are stiff-necked and will not follow God's ways . Romans 12:19

The side that kisses his butt more wins. If equal, he flips a coin. God also cares about the outcome of football games and boxing matches.

Neither, of course. I am sure that God will not be subordinated by feeling that he has to choose sides in a man made war.

If there is a God which I very much doubt. I think he/she gave up the ghost on that pestilential corner of the world decades ago.
