where in the bible does jesus say "i am the only son of god". i know that in the bible it makes refrence to sons of god (the jews, i think). he was a great prophet but what makes you think he was the son of god or god himself. if i remember right in the ten commandments it to worship god and only god. oh and why is christ portrayed as being white with long hair and blue eyes (common european traits)?

According to Jewish sources, the Messiah will be born of human parents and possess normal physical attributes like other people. He will not be a demi-god, (1) nor will he possess supernatural qualities.

What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? The Bible says that he will:

A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).

B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).

C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)

D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: "God will be King over all the world -- on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One" (Zechariah 14:9).

Couldn't one equally present the analogy that the the sun-god is a quarter back, the moon-god is the running back... and they all make a Team hence its one god. Besides the yolk is not an egg, The shell is not an egg and the egg-white is not an egg the three toghether constitute an egg. For the last two months in my life I have been going through problems with my job and money...although I have been getting paid I have been struggling to pay my bills. I stopped giving my tithes, because I really didn't feel like I had enough in my check to share...Now it seems like all my momey has been cut off. I know its a wake up call from God. I just don't know how to handle it or what to do? I feel bad and I really need a "breakthrough". What do you think?

hey man this is just reality, and if you live in the real world you will know this, christians and muslims will never agree with each other just as athiest will never realize the spiritual side of life, the balance of the universe is created by positives and negatives but it just so happens that in the mainstream of things most of it's negative and this is why i say turn off your t.v.'s and live life as you were in the mountains looking from the outside in not looking from within outward beacuse your never inside anything your only inside the mind that was created not, well maybe you get it or maybe you don't understand what i am saying but just in case you don't i just want it to be known that i am drunk so don't mind me.

some of these "christians" just do not seem to be able to understand the simplest ideas. and think that it is "cute" to display total ignorance of what they are talking about. If you are going to dis something it might help if you had a slight clue about what it is you are ragging on. Otherwise you just make yourselves look silly.
