"it was an early sunday mornin'..
and the church was crowded full...
elder brown was ravin'...
he was angry as a bull !!!!
the congregation sensed it,
and they knew just what he meant...
when he said "now listen here...
you sinners better repent!!!'"

"who threw the whiskey in the well????
who threw the whiskey in the well????
keep them dippers outta that well...

Um... what's the question? I can offer you an analysis of this poem's form, including some sprucing up of your grammar and punctuation. I can offer some analysis of the message of Elder Brown on temperance. I can offer a satirical retort about abstinence and forbidden fruit and such. But I have no idea, really, what you're asking. Did you write this? post this? have a question about its meaning or meter or rhyme scheme or theme? Is it more of a poem or a song? More information, please.

Anyway, for what it's worth, here's what it should look like if it were written grammatically and correctly:

"it was an early Sunday mornin'
and the church was crowded full.
Elder Brown was ravin';
he was angry as a bull!

The congregation sensed it,
and they knew just what he meant
when he said, "Now listen here:
you sinners better repent!

"Who threw the whiskey in the well?
Who threw the whiskey in the well?
Keep them dippers out of that well
or you'll all wind up in HELL!

"Who threw the whiskey in the well?"

Cheers, K
