A believer is someone who believes in God and Jesus, but isn't a practicing (really religious) Christian. A faithful Christian is someone who lives by the rules of the Bible and is a pious representative of the faith.

To be a true Christian believer requires faith in what you believe as opposed to solid proof. They are the same yet also compliment each other.

You can believe something but not follow it faithfully. So just because you believe in Christ does not make you faithful. Being faithful is to believe and follow him. Live as he has told us to, follow the commandments, be charitable, have faith, etc.

I agree with JillieBoe. In practical terms, a believer is like one who "understands", while the faithful practises this understanding as well....

You have to believe in order to have faith. you have to believe that Jesus died on the cross for us. When things are tough you have to have faith that God is going to take care of you, because he is in contrroll the whole time.

Really, belief and faith(fulness) are the same. To believe is to have faith. Who really believes? Those who obey God.
