I would like to know what the Main newspaper is that is read in Batton Rouge LA, and if it is good enough for advertising to find a specific person there

Was just people watching the other day...
Some people like to wear all black. I don't believe it's only because it's practical. Then there are goths and other minorities who want to look striking and their message seems to be "don't come near to me". Inside a lot of them appear insecure, and afraid.

There are the ultra fashionable, the label lovers, etc. who in a way intimidate people. "Don't come near me".

Is the originality we want to establish with our attire alienating us from other people?
Should we look everydayish we'd be more approachable, but would that mean compromising our imagination and personality?

ok look...im not saying that its okay to be outwardly racist and disrespectful to a particular group because of their physical/mental position, but how come people hide thir prejudices? Shouldn't i, if I find it uncomfortable to be around a certain group of people, be able to voice my opinion and/or have the option of dissassociating myself with those I feel uncomfortable around?

Hi, I go to a Main Line "prep school".
At my school if you score higher than ninety-six (96) on three (3) subjects for the standardized testing you have to do something really, really retarded; they make you take this "SAT Program" that the College Board of America (www.collegeboard.com). Now I took the SAT thing and scored higher than 92% of students that took the REAL SAT's... and I know several kids (from my old school) who scored below 30% (of students) on their SAT's. Now they hate me and are most likely going to try to make life living Hell over the summer.
This summer I can get a car, I can arrange to buy my car the same day that two of these kids will. Would it be wrong to buy a Pagani Zonda Roadster F C12S 7.3 right as they are about to buy some shitty used car? Would I go to Hell? Or do they deserve it?

P.S. I've already done things like this in front of them before (with friends around). It makes them angry and I think that it is funny. Don't tell me I suck...PLZ

it could have been a moment where you were proud of yourself or someone else. I was most proud when a former teacher of mine told me that I was the most profound person she had ever met and that if I ever needed somewhere to go her door was always open.

It's always amazed me that if you say to a lots of teenage boys...EWW!!! That female teacher is a pervert having sex with male her student, they kinda smile and say "wish it was me..." and girls generally cringe at the thought.
Where do you think this double standard originated from? What factors in this life affect a boys thinking in this regard, that makes it so different from most girls?
Any ideas?

How do you handle them, put the phone down, swear, or like me do you use whit to humour them? My fave is when Window comps phone I say I don't have windows as I live in a cellar and is not the response they're after and they can't come back on that!LOL

Yesterday, a kid in my school wore woman's pants to school. They were quite clearly designed for women, they wrapped what seemed uncomfortably tight around his legs and.. other areas. They flared at the bottom a little. He got angry when people asked why he was wearing women's pants, I don't understand why. They were just asking why, they weren't calling him names or anything. Why would he be wearing girl's pants? Someone told me it had something to do with a "sub-culture" of emo... which I am very unfamiliar with. How awkward, walking into the women's section and looking through the clothing..
