Yesterday, a kid in my school wore woman's pants to school. They were quite clearly designed for women, they wrapped what seemed uncomfortably tight around his legs and.. other areas. They flared at the bottom a little. He got angry when people asked why he was wearing women's pants, I don't understand why. They were just asking why, they weren't calling him names or anything. Why would he be wearing girl's pants? Someone told me it had something to do with a "sub-culture" of emo... which I am very unfamiliar with. How awkward, walking into the women's section and looking through the clothing..

Yeah, I know of several guys who wear women's jeans. They tend to be Indie kids or Emo's. It's just that they don't like the baggy guys jeans that are available. It also might be social commentary or something. I wasn't interested enough to ask why.

I have no idea about the emo part (I don't even know what that is).

I wonder if his mother doesn't know the difference between boys pants and girls. It could be that they don't have much money and girls pants were on sale.

There has ot be a good reason since the kid got angry from the questions so he does know.

That kid is going to grow up very very confused.

I really wouldn't say "men" wearing girl pants, since anyone actually considering wearing anything that isn't just picked up off the floor or hasn't been washed for a while, men shouldn't worry what kind of clothes he wear, hell be lucky hes wearing clothes so call this kid a girl and kick his *** for having low self esteem then move on and feel better about yourself.

What difference does make if a guy wears female fashions, or a female wears guy fashions. Puleeze, Girls wear guy jeans a lot. I do. It depends on which style fit the best. You seem to be locked into gender roles. Stop it. It will affect your ability to be non-judgmental. Gender is quite obvious, and is not affected by fashion and styles. I'm curious why you have had such a strong response to someones choice of clothes. Get over it.

yes it is the "emo" style, and they just want to wear tight pants but many men pants aren't created tight, its just a style, it doesn't really matter.
