but when I'm in my nice white neighborhood I dont have to? Just a nice pleasant face smiling instead of some gold toothed slug who has to slide his hand under the glass to take my money .
But diversity makes the country so enriched .... yeah right

All the suburbs in minnesota are pump and pay ... its the city that always has to prepay.

Because in the hood...They feel more guilty for charging.
They know that the gas really belong to the people in the hood and are scared that they may claim it as a right.

I live in South Carolina and every single gas station in this city and the suburbs make you prepay for gas if you are paying cash. It has been like that here for the past 5 years I've lived here. It started when gas prices started going up and people were getting gas and driving off without paying. Believe me, this has nothing to do with race.

Gee and we are supposed to be the backward, prejudiced ones in Mississippi!!! I would be very surprised to find a town where you don't have to pay prior to pumping gas. In my town if you frequent a particular gas station and the attendants know you then they may turn on the pump for you but otherwise you pay before you pump unless you use a debit or credit card. There's a suggestion for you stay in your "safe" neighborhood and pay before you pump or pay with a credit card at the pump when you are in the "hood". Why would you be in the hood if you feel like you do?

i don't know what neighborhood you've been in 'cause i have yet to see a black neighborhood and i have to prepay for gas 24/7
