The following is from the US Government Peace Corps Manual for its volunteers who work in the Amazon Jungle. It tells what to do in case you are attacked by an anaconda. This is what the manual said:

1. If you are attacked by an anaconda, do not run. The snake is faster than you are.

2. Lie flat on the ground. Put your arms tight against your sides, your legs tight against one another

3. Tuck your chin in.

4. The snake will come and begin to nudge and climb over your body.

5. Do not panic

6. After the snake has examined you, it will begin to swallow you from the feet and - always from the end. Permit the snake to swallow your feet and ankles. Do not panic

7. The snake will now begin to suck your legs into its body. You must lie perfectly still. This will take a long time.

8. When the snake has reached your knees slowly and with as little movement as possible, reach down, take your knife and very gently slide it into the side of the snake's mouth between the edge of its mouth and your leg, then suddenly rip upwards, severing the snake's head.

9. Be sure you have your knife.

10. Be sure your knife is sharp.

Let's see, If somebody burns a Harry Potter Book, Naruto Mangas or any Anime Manga, Lord of the rings, Star Wars, or any popular fictional novels... they will be looked down upon, and called narrow minded idiots... morons, etc.

Now here's something different... why do most people look down on the bible, and wouldn't give a rats *** if someone burned it? You guys see where I'm getting at?

I mean to me, the bible is just like any other book, and I treat it like if I were reading let's say Lord of the Rings.

But why do most people take the bible, and just burn it, and most people wouldn't even give a damn, but when it comes to any other book, they twist it around and call it the wrong thing to do.

I don't know, I think no one should burn books, it really disrespects the Authors that have written long hours, and put their blood and sweat into the pages.

What are your thoughts on this?

I see in these boards that Puerto Ricans or Native Americans get offended for being called Mexican??

Jennifer Lopez is Puerto Rican and she got famous playing the part of a Mexican named Selana.

Esai Morales played who is Puerto Rican played the part of a mexicans brother in the movie "La Bamba."

Erik Estrada played the part of a Mexican in the Los Angeles PD called Chips

Lou Diamond Phillips who is native american got famous for playing the part of a Mexican name Richie Valens in La Bamba.

Some native americans played the part of Mexican/Guatemalan indians in Mel Gibson's movie Acapolicto.

And then they get offended for being called mexicans??

In Florida, all the spanish speaking people are Cubans and carribeans but, Mexicans take the blame because people think that because they speak spanish they are mexican.

Why can't mexicans be allowed to play the part of mexicans in Hollywood movies??

It seems in america young dudes are dressing more and more like girls...and young girls have no problem fooling around with other girls etc. I know that in some ancient cultures homosexuality was prevalent and much more common then it is here and now. Is that the natural progression? As a subquestion, how do I repress the urge to tell dudes to dress like a man? That weirds me out...the girl thing I'm ok with.

Why is it that we in the UK love Henry VIII when it is clear he was a murderer. He killed his wives cos apparently they didnt have rights - where were their rights? Its taught to us in schools - divorced beheaded died - divorced beheaded survived. Yet he is taught to us as an inspiration. Human rights are for everyone and yet this guy or king should i say violated womens rights. Should he be held as a hero?
