1. I don't work anymore (since 17) cause it is hard and it sucks and everyone is snotty and mean to me.
2. I'll be going to college this fall.
3. I live with my mom and dad and they are nice to me. I do chores sometimes. I go out with them to places. They'll raise me until 21 (I live in NY, so I'm cool till then)
Any advice on what I can do until I start college this fall, i am a 19 yr. old boy from NY.

Say if I were to witness somebody robbed, and I chased down the robber and gave him a dose of justice.

Or perhaps tonight I saw an act of police brutality and I overpowered the officer and left him marked.

Say if I tracked down people who found pleasure in harming others and taught them a lesson, is that wrong?

Or is that what the world needs? More people who are willing to put themselves in harms way and defend those who are innocent, or powerless against those who seek to deny them their pursuit of happiness?

What do you consider right and wrong? Who do you think gets to decide what is wrong, and why?

I feel Yahoo Answers is much like a confession.

I must admit, I have donated large portions of my wealth knowing these "donations" were tax deductible.

They also provide me with good image and rapport.

Do any of you feel as guilty as I do?

Clear and concise ways?.....I am new to yahoo answers, but it seems hard to answer questions that are not really questions, or do not give enough detail to really answer....do people really want an answer or are they just being silly?

This is not a question of prejudice. I have wondered what it would be like to be a Native American.

Thoughts on this story?

Excerpts from news story:
MINEOLA, N.Y. - A millionaire couple were arrested on federal charges that they kept two Indonesian women as slaves in their swank Long Island home for more than five years, beating and abusing them and paying them almost nothing.

The homeowners, Varsha Mahender Sabhnani, 35, and her husband, Mahender Murlidhar Sabhnani, 51, entered not guilty pleas Tuesday at their arraignment in U.S. District Court in Central Islip and were ordered held pending a Thursday bail hearing.

Prosecutors said the women had scalding water thrown on them and were forced to repeatedly climb up and down stairs and take as many as 30 showers in three hours — all as punishment for perceived misdeeds. In one case, prosecutors said, one woman was forced to eat 25 hot chili peppers at a time.

So awhile ago I asked the question "Where do you live?" and it was deleted. I was only wondering in what parts of the world were all the people asking and answering questions came from. It would just be interesting to me I guess. So let me ask again in an attempt to find out how many interesting places in this world the people on Yahoo! Answers are from, "What part of the world are you from?"
Hope this question doesn't scare or offend anyone.

I say the prayer written in the bible, because it is unselfish and it is what God tells us to say. I know that the Bible doesn't have everything (all of the writings) because of it being destroyed by whites a long time ago, but I just wanted to know why is it that the churches I've gone to are EXTREMELY selfish in what they say and GOD is an UNSELFISH God. At least the God I worship. I don't classify myself as Christian because I try to follow the teachings of all Biblical books inspired by GOD (mostly all are same anyway). Just wanted to know why people say "MY GOD" instead of "OUR GOD" or "Bless Everyone" not "Bless me or My family" Even songs sung in churches have words like "ME" "MY" "I" Biblical books like the Bible don't teach selfishness. So aren't those people that say "ME, MY, I" hypocrites.

By this I mean, they lay the bills in your hand like a little tray and then put the coins on top so they slide around and it's very awkward. You need your other hand immediately to "undo" that before the coins slide and fall off. When I was a cashier (going back a quarter century here!) we put the coins in the customer's hand first and then the bills. The customer could grab the bag with the other hand and not have to use both hands for the money.

Cashiers are sometimes customers and are on the receiving end, so you'd think the problem would solve itself once they see how awkward it is. But it's not solving itself!

Do you think Reality Shows would have appealed to a 1950's audience? Why or why not? What types of shows were popular then, and what does that tell us about people of that time?

What does reality television's current popularity reveal about today's society?
