As societies progress do they get gayer?

It seems in america young dudes are dressing more and more like girls...and young girls have no problem fooling around with other girls etc. I know that in some ancient cultures homosexuality was prevalent and much more common then it is here and now. Is that the natural progression? As a subquestion, how do I repress the urge to tell dudes to dress like a man? That weirds me out...the girl thing I'm ok with.

There has been an increase in female homosexuality due to the increase burden and stress placed on women in today's society. There have always been women who have prefered the same sex - but only in society where women had dominant roles.

The sex of the person is not at issue here - it is a matter of masculine/femininity - different people have higher or lower levels of emotional sensitivity to feelings and empathy - these indicate femininity - some have high levels of testosterone inducing emotions which cause masculine behavior.

When these characteristics dominate the person lives within that specific role - sometimes the emotions cross in situations - which if these situations are repeated the emotions become more common.

The best way to handle others - is to let them do as they wish as long as they are not attemting to tell you what to do - if they are - find new people to associate - unless you trust their judgement and believe they are trying to help you - if you want to help someone - don't tell them - ask them! Let them explain why they do what they do. Then make up your mind if you should say they are wrong.

Not really any of your business how someone dresses does it? Your problem. Not theirs. Homosexuality was never more prevalent, just more accepted. It has always been and will always be. Nothing you can do about. And why would the girl thing be OK but not the guy thing? Does that really make sense?
