I was most proud of my daughter, who we had concerns over weather or not she was autistic, when she finally put her first 3 words together at 30 months old. I had worked so hard with her for so long. She was vary late in her language development among other things. At the end of many days I was reduced to tears because I didn't know what I was doing wrong in my teaching her.
Her first three words were "I love you! The best day in my life besides marring my husband and giving birth to my children! You made me cry with thinking about that! :)

My last physical test(PT) when I was about the get out of the Army I scored over 300, which is really really good(for anyone who doesn't know). The tests consisted of as many push ups as you can do in 2 minutes, how many sit ups in 2 minutes and a timed 2 mile run. I don't remember how much push ups or sit ups I did, but I think I ran 2 miles in 12 minutes and 15 seconds. Could I do that now? Not even close!!!

We moved from IN to SC and my son couldn't seem to adjust so as soon as he could he took his GED which in turn meant he was legally finished with the school system and could leave SC and at the same time enabled him to re-enroll at the High School in IN without my being there and after 2 1/2 more YEARS he graduated with an actual High School Diploma.

My proudest moment was when my son, who had been misdiagnosed autistic (instead of deaf) and kept in a school for the mentally challenged until I opposed it, walked up and got his double bachelor degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I always knew there was nothing wrong with him and he proved it to everybody.

I was pretty proud of myself when a friend of mine was going around the room telling people what color they were (in an effort to explain their personalities). She nailed everyone in the room, but when it came to me, she said I was a Rubik's cube. That was pretty satisfying.

I know it's corny...but the three times I saw my children born.
The pride gets all mixed up with the wonder and the love...but it's still there. Unforgetable.
