hi i am 23 weeks pregnant with my second child and would really like to learn more about hypnobirthing. I spoke to a hypnotherapist but sessions would run me about $100/hour and she wants me to do 4 sessions. Has anyone had positive experiences with this? Negative? Could i do it on my own or do i NEED the assistance of a professional in order to do it successfully?

I have a friend that loves her booze and her friends use to drink too, they quit and now they look down on her, why? She is a very good person and does not get out of control when she drinks.

Do I prefer to see a Doctor of my own race? Do I prefer a dentist of my own race? Preacher of my church? What color of shoes do I want to wear today? what color of car do I want? Hair color? If I was on trial, what color of Judge do I want? Babysitter for my child? Lawyer? Teacher? Color does matter to a lot of people.Only God sees us all the same.He judges our deeds not our color.

i was just wondering if America is actually a good country to live in. I've lived here all my life and thought it was the best country but i read an article today in History class that said that so many other countries are exceding us in things like traffic control and polution emmissions. It even said we have a low life expectancy rate compared to other countries.....so that got me thinking is America really as great as everyone says or is it just a false sense of security????

Isn't it frustrating, when after the question is closed, and the asker puts up some ignorant unfounded comment to the answer you gave. You have no way to rebuttal or give a counterpoint, because he has blocked himself from receiving IMs or e-mails. I mean what is the point. I can understand private info, that that is not an issue, no one cares, at least I don't, I just want a chance to rebuttal. Anyway, you can set up your profile to keep that stuff hidden and still allow e-mails.


I know this site is suppose to strictly Q&A, but you know as well as I, 90% of the people on here treat it like an open forum. Which I am not complaining, I do as well, obviously, and I love the open discussion, exchange of ideas. I just think if your going to through absurd comments out there you should not be afraid of someone's civilized counterpoints.

This has always bothered me when I see it. I can be at a gas station and see someone buying soda, candy, and chips (basically garbage that's over priced since it's not a grocery store) and paying with food stamps. At a grocery store while I stand in line with my hot dogs, mac & cheese and everything store brand I see someone buying cases of soda, frozen pizzas, and just plain over priced name brand crap. Shouldn't we limit what can be bought? I mean if I had to use gov. assistance I would be watching how I spent my money and not buying junk food.

I don't smoke and find it personally revolting, but I'm sick and tired of these busybody do gooders trying to regulate every step of everyone's life. So I propose a national smoke in day where we encourage all nonsmokers to puff away that day.
