Because I've met people from Australia and many European countries and they're happy where they live, and proud of their nationality.
I'm American myself, btw, but I have to disagree that the rest of the world is jealous of us. Just because they listen to U.S. music or watch U.S. films doesn't mean they want to be like us. Just because someone likes Chinese food doesn't mean they want to be Chinese.

For a while now, I have been finding that I extremely dislike many people in my high school, and I can't stand the way that they act, etc. I feel that they are so mean and snotty, gossippy, etc. It just pisses me off (high school rumors, etc. ) and I find that i'm disliking school because of this. I'm a fairly nice guy, and kinda quiet, but other people still are bugging me.

so i met this girl on a dating site the other week, exchanged VERY long emails, then started talking on aim. just today she im'ed me, asked how i was, im like 'oh not too good i need surgery next month' shes like got all concerned ' oh no!' and asked for what. i said an infection. and she asked where, my tummy, guy parts? im like 'well...umm yeah' after a minute or two of her joking about 'weiner' stuff she asked what it was specifically. i said it was for a circumcision. she started talking about it like 'it would make things easier, and now i'm vervous too' asked me if i was nervous, etc. then was saying she was thinking of not doing that to her sons but now she thinks she will.
anyway i totally have a crush on her. she only lives like 30 mins away at the beach, and its awesome talking to her. so you think she likes me too??
thanks for your answers!!

You ask questions and people just can't help being rude.

Just remember, what comes around goes around. While your laughing at me, someone is laughing at you. And if you can't give a straight answer and not crush peoples dreams, feelings, and ego, you don't belong associating with other people. People who are rude I think lack intelligence and when they are unable to answer a question (with their low IQ being a obsticle) they feel being rude is the answer.

So go ahead, be rude when you answer someones question. Does that make you feel good that you could be crushing someones last hopes, dreams, and wishes? Or were you not intelligent enough to understand the lesson in preschool, "If you can't same something nice, don't say anything at all?"

Is it because that they are likely to have sex with different people? If this is true then what is the guarantee that they will remain faithful to their spouse after marriage? Don't we have extramarital affairs? In fact I read somewhere that the majority of the men visiting prostitutes are married!

There have to be clues here that I am missing. WHY would some person who doesn't know me flatly contradict what I say? I know me; strangers do not know me. What gives?

As an introvert and someone who's not always shy but is not terribly social and who takes a while to warm up to people, the sentence "I am shy" is neutral. It's like saying, "I am female and I have brown hair." So why would people contradict this?

Clearly although this has no emotional meaning to me, there may be meanings to "shy" that extroverts may feel that don't ring any bells with me. I've been told that other people see and "feel" the word "shy" differently. Maybe this is an introvert/extrovert dichotomy?

Is it just me, or do a lot of people seem particularly clueless about shyness? I can't count how many times I've been told that I don't need to be shy, or I should just get over it. Usually I respond by telling them they should change their eye color, and then I'll change my nature. Thanks.

Some chronic users claim that they see great details in things that usually they would take for granted, and visit secluded corners of the mind while on marijuana. Some artistic people I know claim such things. Is this true or are they just high?
