Unfortunately there is only one way to fit in with the "Popular" children. Dress as they do, act as they do, and think as they do. Any individualism on your part will be construed as not worthy. I never fit into their group, and I did not let myself go into the opposite direction, "Goth or emo",,,, but the popular children came to respect it. As I grew older, I found that they all remembered my name, and who I was, but I didn't remember their names, or who they were. Some sort of poetic justice or placing proper perspective on what is important. Who can say? Good luck.

You basically have to be someone you're not, if you don't fit in now. That's really an immature question, because life isn't about popularity. It's about being happy and giving it your all. Why try to fit in with the popular kids, most of them don't grow up to be doctors and lawyers. They grow up to be housewives with a few kids. Hang out with the "nerds" you have a better chance at being really successful.

You should not be worried about fitting in. Just be yourself and let the people that like you for you show and keep them in your life. Being popular is not everything that it seems. You should just be yourself and be happy the way you are and not worry about fitting into the "in" crowd.

Girl, you don't want to follow people like that. You will have wasted your young life on worrying about what people think. That is all that popularity is consisted of: the opinions of peers, all which is subject to change.
You want to spend your time on what's really important: Your grades, getting into a good college, your REAL friends, having fun, your prom(s)...You know, teenage stuff...You'll look back and be glad you didn't practically sell your soul trying to get some people to like you. I mean, if they like you or not, it'll be their loss if they don't. I hope you come to find out that you really cannot please everybody, and it's not your job to try to. Sometimes some relationships are not meant to be, and maybe one day you'll find out why it turned out to be a good thing that the "in" crowd didn't want you...

Be quiet, hang out with them after school, don't be a dork, be friendly, spend time with them and don't piss them off. If you're really good at something, do it and don't brag cuz you'll look good anyways.
Just do that and they'll respect you and probably like you too.

get baby blonde highlights, throw up your food, dress only from abercrombie, wear lots of tiffany's, complain a lot, be/ act bored with your life, say "I love you" to everyone, gossip as much as you can and fail your classes.
Or you can save yourself the trouble and be yourself loud and proud.
