(1) Reading -- Fills my mind with other times and places and people.
(2) Gardening. -- Seeing little live things grow at my hand.
(3) Quilting. -- Restful soothing and meditative to do all that repetitive stitching.
(4) Playing piano. -- I sound amateurish, but it lets off steam.
(5) Hiking in the woods or by the lake. -- Gets me out in fresh air and nature.

Charcoal and mixed media canvas work. Crocheting. Cooking. Entertaining in my home. And although you asked a question and then limited how we answer, my last answer is reading the Bible and my private prayer time. They all bring me contentment.
