Hello

Does family guy push the boundaries of appropriateness too far or are their jokes in keeping with their satirical style. For example when they make fun of guy who has AIDS.

Thank You

"Family Guy" is just a television show. The jokes play from stereotypes. "Family Guy" pushes boundaries but if it were to stay inside the lines the show wouldn't be funny, defeating to purpose of comedy. The show takes something and over dramatizes it but it's all in good humor. People shouldn't get offended because "Family Guy" pokes fun at every stereotype equally. It also puts comedy into some serious situations. I never miss a show!

Same as any other TV program that you might disagree with: If you don't like it, change the channel.

Who cares if the jokes on that (or any other) show are "appropriate." Who's to say what's appropriate in the first place? Just because Joe Blow thought it was a horrible comment doesn't mean Jane Doe didn't find it uproariously funny.

I Honestly Like Family Guy As Far As TV Shows Go, And I Watch It About Every 2 Days. Family Guy Relies Mostly On The Real World To Help It Move Along, Because It's A Sitcom. But The Real World Isn't Always Pretty, And Neither Is Family Guy. The Language Isn't Always Appropriate, And The Humor Can Get Out Of Hand. I'd Put The Age Group Around 14-15 Years. It's Not As Inappropriate Compared To South Park Or Metapocalypse, But Family Guy Is Still Rated TV-14. So I Don't Think The Humor Is Too Off Color, But I'd Just Be Careful Of Who Watches It.

Take it for what it is worth. It does push just about every boundry, but if you don't like it or you feel it is too much just don't watch it.

It is totally inappropriate and uncivilised to make fun of people who are underprivileged or disabled!
